Hoping for the Best

Bradley's POV

Mom decided we should move to Japan to be closer to Danny and the rest of our family. After Aunt Kelly died Danny has turned out like a boy. She was raised by her dad so it makes since. Mom thinks it would be best if Danny had a 'woman figure' in her life. We have been moved here about a week now but Danny's been in a coma for about two weeks. I was now on my way to the hospital to visit her. Kimberly and Cameron wanted to come but I had to sneak off. It's not good for them to be around her like this. I make it to the hospital and go in her room. She was still in the same place we left her. I walk up to the side of the bed and sit in a chair.

"Hey Danny. Stopped by to tell you what's going on. Cameron's trying to keep Kimmy happy. It's not working to well, she wants you. We all do. Your boyfriend and friends helped us get settled in at our new home. We are going to the public school until you wake up. Mom wants us there for you. Why is it we always fight? Maybe it's just how we were raised. You were raised without your mom and didn't really grow up like a lady should. Hell, you probably would still be like this if you did have a woman in your life. Anyways, I just wanted to tell you I got in anger management. Maybe we won't fight as much. I don't want us fighting each other our whole lives. We are too much alike. Maybe that's why we fight a lot. You're the girl version of me and I'm the guy version of you." I sigh and lie my head on the edge of the bed. "Why are we so alike? We both care about the people around us but yet have hard times biting our tongues. We just go off on them and then regret it later. How don't you go off on Kimmy and Cameron when they get annoying? Brandon does that to me and I can't stop myself when I blow up. You somehow bite your tongue towards them and your dad. You don't go off. You really are stronger than me in every definition of the word. You're strong mentally as well as physically. Just wake up soon Danny. It's not time for you to give up on us." I heard someone at the door and looked seeing the host. Haruhi walked over and put her hands on my cheeks before rubbing her thumbs under my eyes. I didn't even know I was crying. "How long were you guys here?"

"We got here around the Danny not being raised a lady part." Hikaru says. Yea, I learned to tell the twins apart. They walked over to the bed and stood around.

"What'd you mean she wasn't raised a lady?" Kaoru asked.

"When her mother died Danny stayed with her dad. He raised her the only way he knew how, like a boy. She got into fighting more. We both took martial arts together but Danny was always better. It was like she had to prove she was tough. Then her temper added on top just made her a danger when she was mad. You guys have probably already seen her pissed off."

"Yea she's flipped us a few times when we made her mad." I give them a shocked look. She's been holding back.

"She actually held back? Luckies. She never holds back when fighting with me." They then give me a confused look.

"She holds back?"

"I'm pretty sure that she is. Every time she fights with me I about end up with a broke wrist. If she wanted to she could hurt you two very badly. I guess she's gotten her anger under control more than when she was ten." I ended up talking with the host for awhile before I left to go home.

Third person POV

After Bradley left the host all settled in chairs or on the bed with Danny. Honey held her hand in his not letting go. Kyoya was called into the hall to talk with a doctor.

"We ran a test on her to see if her mind is working or not. As you know if her mind was not functioning we'd have to take her off life support. It would be no use leaving her on it."

"I know. What was the results?"

"Her mind is functioning. That's the good news. The bad is we are still not sure when she should wake up. With her mind still functioning perfectly she should wake up soon. We thought the blood loss would do some damage or something but it seems it didn't."

"Thank you doctor." Kyoya walked back in the room.

"What'd the doctor say?" Haruhi asked.

"They ran a test on her mind. If her mind wasn't working they'd take her off the life support. It came back good. Her mind is still working. She can hear us but she's having trouble waking up. They don't know when she will wake up but it should be soon." He sat back in his chair.

"Danny, when you wake up we are going straight out to the amusement park and the beach." Hikaru says.

"We also opened one of the back rooms in the club for you. It is your very own art room." Kaoru says. The guys continue telling her things while she's unconscious. They all started out the door to go eat. Honey stayed at the bed and kissed her forehead. He then whispered in her ear so only she could hear him.

"I love you Danny. Please, come back to me." He kissed her forehead again before leaving with the guys for lunch.
