[Y/N] grabbed coffee from the lobby before heading out to Flounder Heights to go watch Blue Team's first match of the day. They got a lot of stares and murmurs.

'...is that...no, that can't be...'

'...what the...'

'...photoshoot...aloha...'

[Y/N] tried to ignore it as they pulled their hood over their head and headed outside. They walked not too far to the train station, where they rode to the station at the stage.

"Good morning, guys!" [Y/N] greeted Blue Team with a smile. "Who's your opponent for this match?"

"Good morning, [Y/N]. I think we're battling...hmm. I don't think we know them. We chose to be randomly matched, since the others are all battling each other." Specs said as he unzipped his Octobrush case.

Goggles grinned. "But I'm sure we can beat them! If we work together, of course."

"Yeah! We have all the support we need right here." Headphones added.

Once warm-ups were done, Blue Team positioned themselves on the spawners, awaiting the match to start. Quite the crowd had formed at Flounder Heights, not only because Blue Team was famous in two cities, but due to the fact that a human would be showing up.

Headphones looked at [Y/N] from the spawner worriedly. There were people who were questioning if it was just an Inkling in a human costume to gain attention from celebrities. Needless to say, the fans weren't happy.

"Guys, I don't think [Y/N] is okay. They're getting swarmed!" Headphones nervously said.

Specs assured, "They'll be fine. C'mon, we gotta start the match. Focus."

GO!

They all came crashing down from the airborne spawners as they proceeded to paint the stage as usual. Everything was going smoothly, at least in the battle itself.

Meanwhile, [Y/N] had quite the crowd around them. And it wasn't an admiring one.

"Hey, what makes you think that you can just dress up and impress famous people?!" One Octoling chimed in angrily.

Another Inkling blurted, "Yeah! What the hell is your problem? Attention seeker."

[Y/N] raced to find an excuse for their valid arguments. "Calm down!! I had no intention of impressing people with clout!! I don't want attention!! Leave me alone!!" They yelled.

"Cut the bullshit! If we can't have rich friends like you, then you can't either! I'm gonna expose you!" One Inkling took out a pocket knife in an attempt to cut open the so-called "human costume". He slashed at [Y/N], and ended up slicing their arm. Blood pulsed out of the cut on [Y/N]'s arm as they yelped in pain.

"Hold on!! Why is that blood...red? That's not an Inkling or an Octoling!!" The guy with the pocket knife said after slashing [Y/N]'s arm.

Rider ran up to the guy and punched him. "Leave them alone!! You don't go around slashing the arms of people who are different every day, do you?! 'The fuck's your problem?!" He shouted as the other Inkling stared up in fear of the strong guy who punched him.

"Rider?! THE Rider?! W-what are you doing here?!" The knife Inkling shrieked in horror.

Rider responded with anger, "Teaching you a lesson about assault and battery! It's against the fucking law!"

The Inkling yelled, "You're the one who punched me, dumba-"

Rider cut him off. "I was defending my friend! You assaulted them without reason or warning, which is a felony and could get you in jail! Maybe THINK before attacking someone randomly!"
