You're at the show of your long term boyfriend danny and his band greta van fleet. You're so proud of how far he's come.
As they finish playing broken bells (your personal favorite song) Danny gets up and says something.
"So as many of you know my girlfriend y/n is here tonight" He says as the camera pans over to you in the crowd.
"well tonight's show is going to be a little different, we're going to play an extra song. but it's not one of ours. we'll be playing love of my life by queen for her tonight"
As the crowd cheers, you blush and look over to lori.
"he's so sweet"
"i know. he better be" she laughs.
As they start to play, the crowd sings along. For you. All for you.
Once it's finished, Danny gets up again.
"now that we're finished with the song, I'd like to say a little something. y/n...i love you. more than the sun. more than golf." the crowd laughs. "you're my everything, i'd do anything to make you happy. you're my light, my star, my reason to keep going. because i know i get to go home to you every night. So because of that i want to ask you something"
In the middle of the stage, danny gets down on one knee. "y/n will you marry me? i can't imagine life without you"
You're stunned. At a loss of words. The camera pans over to you, crying.
You nod your head yes as the crowd cheers.
Danny gets off the stage and runs up to you in VIP to give you a kiss.
"i love you"
"i love you too"
Lori is absolutely dying at this point. she's screaming losing her mind, she wasn't expecting her baby boy to propose.
She hugs you tight.
"i'm so happy, you're finally getting married. only took danny 5 years to do it but he finally did"
"i know" you say through sniffles, still crying.
Once everyone leaves, you run backstage as fast as you can, to give danny a hug. Eagerly waiting to spend forver together.
