Fiona, Drake, Amanda, and Catherine are all going through a hard time, thinking that they will die in the forest. Fiona is worried that she will die before she can find out more about her past. She only knows one little detail.
Drake comes in to the door and knocks on it.
"Can I come in?" he said with his dashing smile.
"Sure, can't stop you." she said. She was looking down at her locket.
"What is that?"
"The only thing I have to connect to my past."
"I have one of those too, to connect to my past."
"What is it?"
"A journal"
He went to his bag and grabbed a small book. It had a weird looking stamp on it. It had The Life of the Carter's. It wasn't just a journal, it was a book to connect with his ancestors.
"Wow, it looks old." she said.
"Yeah, I reed the entire thing. It says that I have a sister, Catherine, and that I am an orphan. It also says that I have a girlfriend I found in one of the houses I visited before."
"Wow, that's pretty cool, are you okay with being an orphan?" she asked.
She was worried for her friend.
"Yeah, is just I didn't really expect to see that my past is not really a happy one. Aren't you afraid?"
"Of what?"
"Of what your past might be. You might not like what you see."
"I don't know."
It was quiet. They didn't talk for half an hour. Finally Fiona said something.
"I know this is weird, but I think I know you from somewhere." she said.
"Yeah me too"
They turned at each other and looked into each other's eyes. Suddenly Fiona saw a vision. Maybe a memory. She saw her looking into someone else's eyes. She saw that she was in love with that man.
Then Drake said something that broke her out of it.
"Well um, I think I should get going" he said.
He got out of the room, but he stopped at the door and said something.
"You know, I never felt like this about anyone." he said
She didn't know what he ment but for some reason she felt it too.
When he left, she opened the locket and looked at the picture carefully and realized something big.
Drake was her boyfriend!
