"I think we shot ourselves in the leg with this wedding. I should have shut my mouth abot your neice being my maid of honor," Maya said as Josh saw how she was busy with the invitations.
"It will be fine. I know you and Abigail are best friends. Ask her, and then get your team of bridesmaids together. It will be fine. How does the wedding invitation looks like?" Josh asked as Maya showed him her computer.

"Wow, Maya. That looks absolutely amazing. You should do this. Not run a business," Josh said.
"Fortunately, I can still design. That wont be a huge problem. Are you sure about the venue though? Your parents may be paying for everything, but that does not mean we should shut our mouths about this as well," Maya said.
"The Bear Creek Mountain Resort is aa good place to get married at. Go and ask Abigail. You guys are best friends after all. I'll get my groomsmen together and then tomorrow, you take the day to go and look for a wedding dress. Maya it will be fine. I know all of this is technically arranged, but we can adjust it all to suit us," Josh said.
"I'm sorry that I'm such a handful," Maya said.
"You're not. Trust me, you are everything but that," Josh said as Maya nodded.
"Okay, I'll see you later then," Maya said as she was off.
"Maya," Josh said as Maya looked at him.
"You're doing an amazing job, even if you don't think so," Josh said as Maya smiled.
"Thank you," Maya said.
Maya smiled as she had arrived at a little restaurant in town while waiting for her best friend. Maya smiled as she saw Abigail approaching her and immediately hugged her best friend.
"Why am I only hearing about this marriage thing now? I didn't even know you were seeing someone," Abigail said.
"I'm not technically," Maya said as Abigail looked at her and the waiter came.
"Two iced coffees please. It's complicated. My mom and Josh's parents are forcing us into the marriage to merge the two businesses together. Anyway, why you are here, is I want you to be my maid of honor," Maya said.
"Of course, M. I'll be honored. But you should have a choice in who you are marrying," Abigail said.
"Me and Josh were still thinking and then he had told me that his parents booked the Bear Creek Mountain Resort for our wedding. They didn't care if we were still thinking about it," Maya said.
"No choice in fiance, no choice in wedding venue. What else are they forcing?" Abigail asked.
"A lot until Josh told them enough is enough. That's why you are my maid of honor, Abby. I can't do it without my best friend," Maya said.
"Hell yeah. But where is your bike? I don't see it," Abigail said as they received their coffee.
"I got an actual car. The blue Ford Escape is mine," Maya said.
"Fancy. Let's drink to my best friend then," Abigail said.
"And hopefully you have no plans tomorrow. Cause I also need my bestie to go dress shopping with me," Maya said.
"For that, I'll cancel all my plans," Abigail said as Maya smiled.
