Maya exhaled as she and Josh were now outside of a pizza place drinking coffee as both of them were processing the news. Maya looked at the car that she and Josh had arrived in smiling as she knew something was going to change.

"So I guess we should probably make it official. We've known the news for two weeks now so..." Josh said as he got out a box from his trouser pockets.
"What is it?" Maya asked brushing her hair away as she looked at the ring inside it.
"Wow," Maya said as Josh took it out of the box placing it on her ring finger.

"Perfect fit," Josh said as Maya smiled looking at him.
"It may not be perfect, Josh, but maybe something can come from this. Let's not give in just yet, okay? We need to hope that everything happens with a reason," Maya said.
"Like your father leaving you? I'm sorry. That was unacceptable," Josh said as Maya smiled.
"It's okay. Him leaving proved my strength. Listen what do you know about cars?" Maya asked.
"A lot. Why?" Josh asked.
"I've been wanting a car for awhile but don't know anything about them. Can you maybe help me?" Maya asked.
"Sure," Josh said.
