Maya and Josh had exactly one month left until the big day. 25th of July 2017 and they felt like everything was falling into place. Maya finally was able to arrange the perfect wedding that she wanted while it came as a huge shock that many of her friends were over the moon for her. Maya had no introduced Josh to Abigail, Liana and to Mason, all being crazy about him, and he loving how they've been there for Maya through it all. Abigail and Liana were busy arranging the bridal shower while Maya and Josh were establishing the last few arrangements.

"This will definitely be the wedding of the year, what do you think?" Josh asked as Maya smiled.

"After all the trouble with your mother, I hope so," Maya said.

"Hopefully my mother will give us some time on all of this. She's just awfully protective and wants to have everything done a certain way. I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that," Josh said.

"It's not your fault. At all. Your mother is your mother. She always will be," Maya said.

"What about we go for a ride? I feel like clearing my head," Josh said.

"Sure, why not?" Maya asked.

She smiled as Josh threw her a helmet while he got the spare one out. Maya had put the helmet on as she jumped onto the back of the motorbike and held onto Josh.

"Hold on," Josh said as he started the bike.

Maya held tight onto Josh while he drove off. Laying her head on his back, Maya smiled, as she felt a new kind of closeness with Josh. She has felt close to him over the course of the last few weeks, yes, but never like this. Josh stopped the bike at a river as Maya got off and smiled.

"Sometimes I come here when I need to recharge or when I just need to clear my head," Josh said.

"Can understand why. It's beautiful. Do you ever feel the pressure?" Maya asked as Josh looked at her.

"Pressure of what?" Josh asked.

"Having to be perfect all the time. Having to live up to your family's standards," Maya said.

"All the time," Josh said as he sat down on a rock.

"But I need to keep on going. I can't really stop," Josh said as Maya stood in front of him

"But you have the option. It's your life," Maya said.

"Maybe it will end well," Josh said as Maya smiled.

"Maybe yeah," Maya said as Josh took her hand.

Looking down at their palms, Maya smiled and looked back up at Josh. She saw him smiling as he grabbed her by her waist and jumped into the river. Going under the water, Maya felt alive. Slapping the water as she still felt Josh's arm around her body, she went back up to the surface as she exhaled.

"You are a child," Maya said as Josh chuckled.

"Good way or bad?" Josh asked as Maya smiled.

"Good one," Maya said.
