It was the weekend of Valentine's Day, Bucky surprised Monroe with a trip to Beijing. They had a suite at Four Seasons Beijing. They spent their time sightseeing, trying new food and at night Bucky was all about making love to her all night.
They went to the Lantern Festival on their last night their which was Valentine's Day, as they walked through Monroe was completely in awe of the beauty that surrounded her. Bucky stopped them at some point.
"What's wrong?" She said
"Nothing, I just have to give you your gift now." He said
"I thought the trip was my gift." She said
"Part of it " he said
He took her hands, "Monroe my babylove..I love you I know that our story isn't like the fairytales. But you are the one, my true love and I can't imagine my life without you. Will you marry me?" He said then dropped to one knee.
She gasped, and covered her mouth. She shook her head yes then said yes. Her hand was shaking as he slid the ring on her finger.
He stood up, and kissed her. "Don't be scared baby." He whispered
"I'm never scared when I'm with you. So you better not leave this world without me." She whispered
"Well baby I have no control over that but I'll do my best." He said as they continued to walk through the festival.
