The conversation between me and Conrad had a really big effect on me. He seemed to be serious. I kinda believed him. As I was walking to my room someone stopped me.
" Where do you think you're going?" A shirtless Jeremiah said standing in front of the door of my room asked.
" In my room? Just a guess?" I said sarcastically. I don't really wanna talk to him right now.
" Haha! Very funny!" I was waiting for him to move so I could go into my room but nothing. And I guess he understood it.
" Come on! I just wanna talk to you! I feel like you have been avoiding me this summer." He cannot be serious. He has been ditching me all summer for Belly.
" Well, I don't know. Maybe! Let's go and ask Belly. I'm 100% sure she will have the right answer." I was really annoyed with him. He is always with someone else and he's blaming me? I can't believe him.
" What has Belly to do with that?" I can understand that he got a bit offensive. But I cannot deal with him right now.
" Jere I'm tired. Could we please talk tomorrow?"
" Yeah, whatever Y/n." He walked away. He didn't even say goodnight but that's not all. He called me by my name which is very unusual for him. He always calls me by his nickname for me. Conrad could be right. My eyes started to get watery. I hurt my best friend. I should apologize to him tomorrow. I would do it now but he will probably be very mad at me.

I woke up when I felt someone sitting on my bed. I was ready to say something but they began to speak first.
" Don't know. It's just me, Belly. Susannah said that I should wake you up because we have a rehearsal today." She said as she was trying to wake me up. " Also, Steven is getting muffins, so you better hurry if you wanna get a specific one."
" I'll be down in 10 minutes." And before Belly could leave I asked her to keep me a couple of favorite muffins in case I wasn't ready in time.
About 5 minutes later I heard the front door open and it was followed by Steven's voice.
" Muffins are here." God. I'm not gonna get my favorites. 1) I'm in my bra right now. 2) Jere and I prefer the same muffins so he's gonna get it because he is faster than me and because he will still be mad at me he won't share them like we always do. When I finally dressed out of my pajamas it was already late. Jeremiah had taken my muffins and he was arguing with Belly about it.
" Jeremiah please take one. Y/n said to keep some of her favorites." Belly please Jere to give her one of the muffins he had taken.
" Well, I guess she should have been faster." Belly seemed to be confused. I don't blame her. Jere and I had been pretty close the past few years. She was interrupted by me. I would let her defend me but Belly being angry? Sorry! I think I'm gonna pass.
" It's okay Bells. Don't worry. He's right. I could have woken up earlier." I said as I grabbed another muffin.
" So Y/n do you wanna go and buy some of your favorite muffins?" Conrad must have noticed that I was upset and he probably watched the whole scene.
" No Connie. It's alright. Besides that Belly and I have a rehearsal today." I said with a small smile.
About two hours later, we had to get ready for the rehearsal, and unfortunately, I don't have a partner. But Belly does. His name is Cam. They met during the first bonfire of this summer. They're cute together though. After the rehearsal, they're going on their first date while I, the boys, and the moms are going to my mom's book party.
