Hailey's POV:

He tucked a small strand of hair behind my ear and just stares at my eyes for a short bit, before leaning in...

We got closer and closer until...

"MATT!" Chris yelled running into the room and we both jumped away from each other.

"CHRIS YOU ASSHOLE GIVE US A WARNING NEXT TIME I JUST HAD A HEART ATTACK!" Matt said.

Okay. Wait. Let me recap what just happened to myself. We almost kissed? To get it out of the way with a not stranger? What is wrong with me lately. Matt would never be my first kiss. He's my best friend, that's just weird.

"Oh did you guys make out?" Chris said.

"Yup. Wait what no? We MADE UP NOT MADE OUT!" I said in response and quickly corrected myself once I realized what Chris said.

"Oops, yeah I meant that." He said.

"Chris you dumbass." Matt added.

"Damn it." Chris said.

"20 BUCKS CHRISTOPHER!!!" Alissa said jumping into the room, giggling.

"Wait what the hell? You guys BET on us making out? Why the hell would we make out you idiots?" Matt said.

"Chris thought you would so I was like, fine then. Bet on it!" Alissa smiled, holding up her 20 dollars that Chris reluctantly put in her hands.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes and left the room to get ready for bed.

Chris's POV:

"CHRISTOPHER! WAKE UP!" I heard someone yelling in my ear but it wasn't one of my brothers and it definitely wasn't Hailey.

"Ow. Okay, geez no need to blow my ears off." I said getting up to see who's there.

"How the hell did you get in the house?" I said, seeing Alissa standing at my bedroom door.

"Hailey let me in. It's already 2PM Chris, why aren't you up yet!?" She said, frowning.

"Because there's other people in the house you can annoy." I complain and flop back down on my bed.

"But I'm bored and nobody will go to the mall with me because Nick is on a date with a hot guy he found, Hailey said she's going to be busy, and Matt is laying in his room being a bum." She said and attempted to give me 'puppy eyes.' Yeah. Not working.

"Dude. Just go yourself." I say.

"Chris it's scary though! It's a big mall and I really don't want to get lost, or attacked by any creepy ass men." She said, once again a frown was adorning her features.

I sighed. "Fine. Give me 10 minutes and meet me at your car, you are driving." I say and she started jumping up and down.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" She cheered.

— At the Mall —

Alissa's POV:

"Oh my gosh.  Vans. We're going. Cmon!" I say as I grab Chris's hand and drag him into the store. We walk around for like 30 minutes before he says something. "Okay. We've been in here 30 minutes can we go somewhere else?!" He complains.

"Fine. Aeropostale it is!" I say and he groans and follows me out of the store to the next.

"So, did Matt and Hailey ever have any like chemistry or something?" I say.
