Wayne Manor - 07:38
Shortly after Raven had saved Dick from the basement of The Hummingbird, she and him had teleported back to Gotham, unfortunately for them, it was only quarter-past-four in the State of New Jersey and the Batfamily who were currently stationed in the city were still on night-time patrol, so the two had about three hours before the rest returned.
Dick had slept in the infirmary, as while Raven had taken the time to heal his injuries, it did take a lot out of him and with Alfred watching over him, it allowed Raven to get some sleep herself.
The sheer size of Wayne Manor meant there was a plethora of empty rooms available for Raven to crash in, but in her sleep deprived state, her body had directed her to the one bedroom in the mansion she knew.
After a meagre three-and-a-half hours of sleep, the girl awoke thanks to a pre-set alarm on her phone. As she sat up and brushed her messy black hair out of her eyes, she realised that she had spent the night in Damian's old room.
Unlike his room at the Tower, this room wasn't as bare. Here, Damian had more of his personal effects on display, in the corner of the room, there was a small study consisting of two bookcases overflowing with books and a desk that could be converted to assist in drawing.
On the other side of the room, by the en-suite there was two suits of armour and corresponding weapons on display. One was in the style of a European Knight, with a claymore and longbow hanging on a display beside it. It had been taken from a storage room he had found soon after his arrival to Gotham, it had belonged to one of his paternal ancestors.
To the left of it was a 13th Century Samurai armour set, complete with a Naginata. This was a gift, given to him by his Mother Talia, shortly before her passing. It had belonged to his Grandfather, the famous Ra's Al-Ghúl, who had worn it during the first Mongol Invasion of Japan. Where he had fought off the invaders alongside Shōni Suketoki and Ryūzōji Suetoki.
Damian had once mentioned to Raven during a late-night chat, that this was the version of his Grandfather he had looked up to. The one prior to the corruption of the Lazarus Pits, the one who would fight to protect life, not the one who saw it as a disease that plagued Mother Earth.
Going into the bathroom, she showered and then brushed her teeth, using an extra toothbrush and bottle of toothpaste that was stored in the cabinet behind the mirror.
After drying off, she realised that her coat was filthy. It was caked in mud, sweat and even a few drops of blood.
Unwilling to put it back on, she began to search through Damian's wardrobe and chest-of-drawers, trying to find something to keep her warm in the cool Gotham climate she was unused to.
Finally finding a black and forest-green hoodie hanging from a hook in Damian's wardrobe, Raven found that it was quite soft and large enough to cover all the way down to her knees.
As she pulled it over her shoulders, she detected a faint smell of cinnamon hair-gel on the collar. After three years, it was nearly imperceptible, but thanks to her enhanced senses, she managed to notice it.
As she revelled in the warmth and comfort provided by the jumper, there were three loud knocks on the door.
"Raven." - It was Dick. - "Bruce just returned... He called a meeting, he wants you there."
"Coming!" - Raven called back, crossing the room, stopping to take a calming breath, before opening up the door.
As the two walked down the hallway to the staircase, Raven evaluated Dick's physical condition. While the injuries he had sustained in Raoanapur weren't life-threatening, it would have taken him out of the action for at least a month if Raven didn't heal him.
