Wayne Manor - 08:17

In complete silence, Raven followed as Bruce led her back up the elevator into the Manor's library. It seemed he wanted total privacy from the others, as he lead her over to a wooden door in the side of the room, situated between two bookcases.

From the bookcase to the left of the door, Bruce plucked a book backed by a red-leather binding from one of the shelves and opened it, revealing a secret compartment, in which was a bronze key.

Inserting it into the lock on the handle of the door, Bruce unlocked and opened the heavy door, before pocketing the key. He gestured for Raven to enter.

Following his commands and hoping this would be just a friendly chat, Raven entered into what looked like a study. Sunlight streamed through the window on the far side, giving the room a cosy feeling.

Apart from the elegant wooden desk engraved with the Wayne family crest, which dominated the room, there was also a few filing cabinets, chairs, a drinks cabinet, filled with what looked like fairly expensive liquors and a large family portrait of a young Bruce and his parents.

Closing the door behind them, Bruce circled the desk and sat in the seat behind the desk, before gesturing to the chair opposite him.

As Raven settled into the chair, Bruce took the chance to make sure the room was soundproofed, even from his family. Opening one of his desk drawers, he pushed a hidden-button hidden in the back of it. Activating a short-range radio-wave blocker.

"Raven." - He greeted. - "Now that we're undisturbed, I'd like you to tell me the real reason you were in South Thailand." - He calmly asked.

Raven sat quietly for a moment. Knowing that was it futile to lie to someone named the 'World's Greatest Detective', the half-Demon decided it was a better play to tell the truth.

"I was looking for Damian."

Bruce nodded. While Damian had never expressly told his Father of the exact relationship between he and Raven. Bruce had managed to uncover the truth, thanks to both Dick's constant updates, while he was serving with the Titans and Damian's own request for her to join them the Christmas holidays. '

Just by watching how the two interacted over the four days they stayed at the Manor: The little glances when they thought the other wasn't looking- Their time spent in the Library, reading together in silence- the way how one only relaxed, when the other was there.

It was clear there was romantic tension between them.

"So, care to explain how looking for Damian, resulted in you running into criminals that we are currently investigating?" - He asked, intertwining his hands and laying them on top of the desk.

Raven felt a sense of Deja-Vu, remembering how Dick had asked that question, just about an hour prior. But this time she didn't have to lie, or skirt around the question.

"I think you already know why." - She confidently replied, sitting up straight. - "You know Damian is Prometheus as well."

"So, reading Calculator's mind did proof fruitful." - Bruce theorised, crossing his arms.

Raven shook her head. - "It was actually Cassandra that informed me."

"She told you?"

"Not directly." - She truthfully answered. - "But she's not as good at suppressing her emotions as you are. The guilt she felt from lying to the others, emitted a clear signal to me, that something wasn't right."
