Outskirts of Oujda, Morocco - 08:28

Following their escape from Somalia, the seven young-adults had driven for nearly twelve hours straight, before stopping for a few hours of rest. While other slept, Raven and Damian finally got a few moments alone to just talk—though if they were being honest, talking was the last thing on their mind.

That set the routine for the next few days... Hours of travel with small periods of rest breaking it up.

By the time they'd arrived in Morocco, Raven had been travelling with the Renegades for about four days and while she'd discovered that her new friends had some strange quirks—such as Lonnie never removing his mask in front of others and Noah's alarming lack of sleep—she was enjoying her time with the group.

It seemed Damian had brought together a series of people who he could connect with, whose interests aligned with his and it seemed hers.

Compared to the Tower, where the closest Kori was the closest she had to someone to talk with her interests, but even then, Raven knew she was only doing it for Raven's sake, not because she had any interest in the subjects she spoke about.

Here however, she'd discovered people who had similar interests.

Raven expected to find it easy to talk to Jinx about magic, what she didn't expect was how Maya was knowledgeable about meditation techniques and their histories or how both Lonnie and Leonid were fans of Jane Austin and Emily Dickinson. Even Noah, who she didn't seem to share any commonalities with, had a curious mind and was open to talking with her about various subjects he didn't know much about, as long as she was open to listening to him do the same.

The group had set up shop just out of view from a stretch of road that led into Oujda, their final stop before heading to Tangiers where they would then illegally pay for a ship over to Spain and hopefully disappear into Europe.

Having gotten use to the slow-moving life as a Titan, she was struggling with keeping up with much more disciplined counterparts, especially in regards to the times they were waking up.

Today, however she'd made an effort to wake up early.

Rolling up her sleeping-bag and slinging the plain backpack—both spare she had been given, back in Somalia—over her shoulder, Raven pulled the hood of her hoodie over her head and joined the others.

"Morning." - She greeted, earning a range of responses from her the others, who were sitting about around their portable stove, which Leonid was cooking what smelt like soup on. Damian, however was absent. - "Where's Damian?"

Noah gestured to a patch of trees to their left. - "He's doing his morning workout."

A steaming cup of what looked like chicken-noodle soup was handed to her, courtesy of Leonid. - "Make sure to enjoy it." - He instructed. - "We're almost out."

The larger man was right, they were running low on food and water. The crate of non-perishable cans which was kept in the Jeep's boot was nearly empty and the car itself was running on fumes.

Damian was heading into the city for a supply run and Raven had opted to join him. It would just be the two of them as the others had either unusual features, which meant standing out or were busy with other activities.

"I will. Thank you."

Sipping from her mug, Raven journeyed over to the patch of trees that Noah had pointed out, following a trail of flattened grass and crushed leaves, she found her... well they hadn't actually talked about what they were to each other. What had he called her... Habibi? training in a small clearing.
