Raoanapur, South Thailand - 14:55.

Damian and Raven remained eye locked and unmoving for a few moments, before Raven stepped forward, leant in... and slapped him.

The five other teens in the room gasped in amusement and astonishment as Damian recoiled in more shock than pain.

"I guess it is true what they say," - Noah muttered. - "Hell, hath no fury like a woman scorned." - The girl with the prosthetic arm punched him in the arm.

Raven was practically shaking with rage, teeth clenched and eyes shooting daggers at the man. - "I can't believe you left!" - She spat, striking him in the chest, which again, he shrugged off. - "After everything we went through!" - Again, she hit him. - "You leave?" - The next time she hit him, it was noticeably weaker. - "You..." - Her voice grew softer. - "Abandoned me."

Damian looked behind him over his shoulder to Noah, who seemed to have switched from entertained to uncomfortable, and nodded. The other man understanding immediately.

"Come on guys, let's leave the lovebirds to themselves." - He smiled. - "First round's on me."

The four other teens gave a half-hearted cheer and followed him out of the room.

Raven took a moment to look at Damian, he was so different from the boy he'd been three years ago. Now, he was a man.

He'd grown five inches, now standing at a comfortable 6'1'', a good foot taller than her. His hair, once short and gelled was now long with a single braid, he'd even grown a short beard. His skin was even more tanned, and a lengthy, thin scar stretched across the left side of his face, passing through over left eye.

It was strange how different he'd looked; he was almost unrecognizable, almost. Raven would never forget the deep-jade eyes he possessed. The way they pierced her soul and gave her butterflies.

He rested his hand on her shoulder, drawing her out of her trance and rage filling her.  - "Raven, I-"

"What?" - She interrupted, wrestling free from his grip. - "What do you think that you can say that will make this whole situation better?"

"I'm sorry."

Raven stood quietly for a moment, and then she sighed, taking a seat on the foot of the bed. - "Why?" - She questioned. Her voice slightly hoarse. - "Why did you leave?"

He took a seat beside her. - "You know why."

Titans Tower - Three Years Prior...

It was early, not even nine-AM yet, and Raven, having just finished her morning meditation, ambled down the Tower's corridors towards the training room.

It was sort of tradition for Damian and her to meet up and go to breakfast together after they both completed their morning activities.

Even from outside, she could hear the swoosh of a steel Katana slicing through holograms, and the grunts of effort. She stepped up to the door, which sensed her and opened automatically.

Inside, Damian was training as he always did... To the breaking point.

But something had changed recently. Ever since he'd returned from a weeklong stint in Gotham, Damian had stopped wearing his Robin armour when he trained, swapping it out for a white, form-fitting T-shirt, a pair of black tracksuit bottoms, grey sneakers and a set of tactical, fingerless gloves.
