The week after Christmas.
Everyone had a school break.
Joesph, Penny, Hope, Josie, Sunny, Thomas, Bailey and Will were at an ice skating rink.
"I'm terrible at this" Will whined
"Grab my hand I'll help" Bailey said
Will took Baileys hand and they went skating
"How are you so good at this" Will asked
"Dance" Bailey shrugged
"Maybe I'll sign up for dance" Will laughed

"They're cute" Joesph smiled taking Penny's hand as they went out
"Just to warn you, I'm the best ice skater here" Thomas said
"Are you sure, I could beat you easily in a race around the rink" Sunny teased
"We'll see about that" Thomas said heading out with Sunny following

"She seems happy" Hope said
"She does, but are you" Josie asked
"I am" Hope said
"Come on" Josie said kissing Hope
"Come on to the car, or the rink" Hope asked
"The rink Hope" Josie laughed and they skated off
"Such a tease" Hope laughed

"After this we can get hot chocolate" Joseph said to Penny as they skated around
"I look forward to it" Penny said

New Years Eve
The adults minus Sarah, were at Emily's for the New Year's Eve party.
"We need more drinks" Tyler said
"We do" Emily questioned
"Yes but, you only have wine" Tyler complained
"Outside fridge" Mason said
"Thanks" Tyler said
"We should play a game for old time sakes" Shawn said
"What games" Joesph questioned
"We always played truth or dare" Shawn said
"Crazy, we played that game back when you guys were five now you're old enough to play" Emily laughed
"I'm not going to, but time flies" Joesph said
"It sure does" Elle said
"Me and Penny will be leaving soon" Joesph said
"Me too, we're going to a party" Caleb said
"You kids have fun" Tyler said
"Don't do anything stupid" Mason said
"We won't" Joesph said as he Penny and Caleb left

Jackson's house
Jackson was throwing a big ass New Year's Eve party. Everyone from the schools was invited.
"Crazy I'm going to my ex's party" London laughed walking into the house
"I need a drink" Sunny said turning towards the bar
"Be careful" Hope said
"I'll be fine" Sunny said walking away from her friends
"I might have one" Avery said
"Be careful too" Hope said
"I'm going to find Summer and Kat, you should come, say hi, clear the air" Josie said

"Hey Avery" Axel said coming up to them as Josie and Hope left
"Hi" Avery said
By this point everyone was in the house.
Random people running around. Random people making out.
Basically the school hallway with booze.
"I'm playing pool with Zach, you wanna join us" Axel asked
"Yeah" Avery said following Axel over to the table
"Hi" Lexi said who was standing near the table with Kori
"Hi" Avery replied
"I'm happy you came" Kori said
"Me too" Avery said

"This is Roan" Thomas said
"She's hot" Roan said
"I am" Sunny agreed
"She's my girlfriend" Thomas said gripping onto Sunny's waist
"I see" Roan said
"I'm gonna go, you two have fun" Sunny said giving Thomas a kiss and walking away
"You seriously gotta make people uncomfortable all the time" Thomas asked
"I do not, you possessively grabbed her waist, so maybes it's you" Roan said
"To protect her I'd say" Jeremy said joining the conversation
"I need a beer" Roan said walking away
"You ok" Jeremy asked
"Yeah" Thomas said

Sarah's house
Sarah threw a party for Bailey and her friends.
"Thanks Sarah" Bailey said standing in the kitchen with Sarah.
"You're welcome Bailey" Sarah smiled
"Layla's here" Bailey said as she walked into the living room.
"Bay Bay" Layla squealed
"Hii" Bailey smiled
"We're here too" Will said as him and Damon walked through the door.
"Snacks in the kitchen, order pizza whenever" Sarah said heading upstairs.
"Thanks" Bailey said
"We should maybe a game" Will suggested
"Kiss, marry, kill" Damon questioned
"Yes" Bailey agreed

Jackson's house
Hope and Sunny were sitting on a couch scrolling through Summer's Instagram
"You have to admit, she's hot with her natural hair" Sunny said
"I mean yeah, but still, I don't trust her" Hope said shutting her phone off
"I don't either" Sunny sighed
"Hey" Avery said sitting down next to them
"How was pool watching" Hope asked
"I think I'm going to break up with Axel" Avery said
"Why" Sunny asked
"He's boring, I just don't feel for him anymore" Avery said
"Understandable" Sunny said
"I think, I like Kat" Avery said
"She's sweet" Sunny said
"Yeah" Hope agreed
"So, I should break up with Axel" Avery said
"When, now" Hope questioned
"Maybe he's talking to Liam" Avery said
"Well, keep me updated" Sunny said
"Will do" Avery replied

Sarah's house
Bailey and Will were in the kitchen.
"Bailey, there's water coming out of your hand" Will said
"I know" Bailey sighed
"Why" Will asked
"I have no idea, don't tell anyone" Bailey said
"I won't, but we need to figure out why" Will said
"I know" Bailey agreed
"Ten seconds till new years" Layla said
Bailey and Will walked into the living room
Bailey stood by Damon.
"Three, two, one" They all said
Damon looked at Bailey and kissed her.
"Happy new year" Damon said

Emily's house
"Happy new year" Shawn sighed
"Still weird without Josh and Catherine" Maddie said
"Yeah, these parties are missing there spice" Tyler said
"Very true" Mason agreed
"We should go visit them" Elle said
"We are all drunk" Tyler said
"I'm not" Emily said
"Let's go then" Elle said

First person
"Happy new year" he said to me as I looked out the window. I saw the newbies Abby killed. I saw my lookalike. I saw Catherine. I saw Sam. They talked to Josh and Susan. Wonderful.
"What are we going to do with them" I ask
"They might help us get to Bailey, if Brynlee can't" he said to me.
"We need her" I sighed all of our kids were duds but her.
Bailey was the answer to everything.
