Sunny was walking home and stopped at Max's house.
Max who was sitting outside on his porch swing
"Hey Sunny" Max said
"Hi, I'm sorry for stopping by last night" Sunny said
"You don't have to apologize" Max said as him and Sunny sat on the porch swing
"But I do, I was so drunk and sad, I should have went home with Sarah but she pissed me off" Sunny said
"I understand Sunny, I've been upset too, I've put on a brave face in front of Billy, but I'm in denial that Billy's grown up enough to understand, he might not remember Susan as well but he remembers Sam" Max said
"You should talk to Billy, tell him you're there for him, we are all in this together" Sunny said
"Thanks Sunny, you're a smart kid, you know" Max said
"Yeah I take after my mom" Sunny smiled
"Yeah definitely" Max laughed
"I miss them too, Sam and Susan" Sunny said
"They deserved better" Max sighed
"Yes they did" Sunny agreed
"Your mom was my first friend in this town, she introduced me to everyone, she's the reason me and Sam got together" Max said
"Really" Sunny questioned
"Yeah" Max smiled at the memory
"If you never met, and never adopted Susan- what would be of my life-" Sunny questioned
"I don't know, but still knowing the outcome, I'm glad I had my family, even if it was a short while" Max said
"Yeah me too" Sunny agreed "I remember and Susan just coming here off to hide in her room, giggling, we thought we were so slick"
"I think it was the way you looked at each other, and Sam just knew" Max said
"I figured my mom told you or something" Sunny laughed
"You're mom started the theory the day after Susan called you Sunshine for the first time" Max said "how much you want to bet in ten ish years they get together" was what she said, and she was right"
"Yes she was right, but she never could have guess the deaths that now haunt us" Sunny said
"No one could have" Max sighed
"How did Billy end up swimming? You never told me" Sunny asked
"Same way Susan did, playing outside, he tripped and fell in" Max said
"Who knew a swim could change so many things" Sunny said
"Yeah who knew" Max saidBailey had just went straight home instead of stopping at Max's house like Sunny did.
Bailey got to the river that was next to her house. Bailey bent down to tie her shoe. There was a cat there, a small black cat.
"Hi kitty" Bailey said to the cat petting it
The cat stared up at her with big brown eyes.
The cat turned away and walked towards the river. Bailey followed.
"Where you going" Bailey asked the cat knowing damm well it won't talk back.
The cat just kept walking until it reached the edge of the river.
"Kitty be careful, you don't want to fall in the water" Bailey spoke.
The cat looked at Bailey and stepped forward. The cat fell in the river.
"Kitty" Bailey yelled running after it. Reaching for the cat, and Bailey fell in the river. The river shimmered that river magic shimmer. Bailey didn't notice.
She put the cat in the grass.
"What are you doing" Sunny asked
"I thought you were going the long way home" Bailey said
"Nope, I stopped by Max though, why do you have a cat with you, and why are you all wet" Sunny asked
"The cat fell in the water" Bailey said picking up the cat "we need to dry it off"
"Alright" Sunny said as her and Bailey walked inside
"Go get a towel, poor cat" Bailey sighed
"Did you go in the water as well, you're soaked" Sunny said handing her the towel.
"I fell in, nothing happend, Abby's dead anyway, if that's what you're worried about" Bailey said
"You're right, it's probably just some clumsy cat" Sunny said
"Don't tell Sarah though, we don't want her worrying for nothing" Bailey said
"True, she'll be home in an hour, story is, we found the cat outside and took it in" Sunny said
"Alright, I'm going to change, you hang onto the cat" Bailey said leaving the room
"You need a name" Sunny said to the cat.
The cat just looked up at her sitting on the counter.
"You're cute" Sunny said to the cat
"Thanks" Bailey said walking over to Sunny
"I was talking to the cat, she needs a name" Sunny said
"How do you know it's a girl" Bailey asked
"She didn't have a dick" Sunny said
"True, the name Ivy is cute" Bailey said
"For a cat" Sunny questioned
"We could do Willow" Bailey said
"You're making it Taylor related aren't you" Sunny asked
"At least it's not All Too Well Ten Minute Version Taylor's Version From The Vault Sad Girl Autumn Version Recorded At The Long Pond Studios" Bailey said
"I guess so" Sunny laughed
"Swift, we call her Swiftie as a nickname" Bailey said
"Fine" Sunny laughed
"Do you think Sarah will let us keep it" Bailey asked
"No" Sunny said
"Yeah she don't like us" Bailey sighed
"She doesn't like me, she likes you" Sunny said
"I think she likes you she just gets annoyed with you" Bailey said
"Everyone gets annoyed with me" Sunny laughed
"You remind her of mom, she don't like mom" Bailey said
"That's true, she wants me to move on, that way we can pretend mom doesn't exist" Sunny said
"She had it worse growing up than us though, mom wasn't around and dad was always mad" Bailey said
"So we've all read moms diaries" Sunny laughed
"Apparently, mom was so hung up on Elle she forgot about her family, eventually having you helped, she got over Elle, here we are" Bailey said
"True, she's jealous, she's jealous I had a mom and she didn't" Sunny sighed
"That's my guess" Bailey said
"Sarah should be home soon, let's clean up, we can hide Swift in my room for now" Sunny said
"Alright" Bailey said
