Nari stood in the middle of the bridge staring at the beautiful night sky. She closed her eyes enjoying the small breeze and the sound of crickets. She dropped her head back enjoying the peaceful night. She could hear the water hitting the stone underneath the bridge. A bright smile came across her face as she thought about Wook and her mother. It had been awhile since she's actually seen the both truly smile about something. Opening her crystal green eyes, you could see the reflection of the bright stars. She leaned on the fence forward enjoying every single moment. She didn't stop smiling, not even at the sound of footsteps approaching her. She was aware of who it was, she didn't have to turn around. The male stopped next to her seeing how joyful she was. A small smile appeared on his face as he stared at her beauty. She turned to look at him. "Did you already eat?"

He nodded his head leaning his elbows on the brick fence. He looked down at the beautiful clear lake seeing her reflection. She 'hmm' in response to him. The small wind blew against her hair gracefully pushing it away from her face. "I wanted to be the first to tell you, even if Suho already knows." Her smile faded as she looked down at her hands. Her green eyes landing on the wooden butterfly ring wrapped around her finger. She knew why she was doing it. She wasn't doing it for Naksu. She was doing it for herself. She's tired of feeling like a second choice and always being pushed aside. Even if Yul wasn't aware of how he would sometimes make her feel. She didn't want him to torture himself or feel guilty for what he could have done. "I don't wish to marry you anymore. I called off the engagement and wedding. Your parents and Suho know about it." She watched how his smile instantly dropped hearing her say she didn't want to marry him anymore. She could see the tears forming in his eyes as she stood there. He completely looked away from her, staring at the river in front of them.

"I don't want you to think you did anything wrong. It's more of I need to work on myself and what I truly want. We've been engaged for so long and acted like a couple multiple times in front of everyone but in reality we still had just remained friends." She played with the rings on her fingers. A small shaky breath leaving her lips. She could feel the anxiety creeping in within her trying to stop her from saying what she needed to say. She felt her mouth go dry while trying to figure out what else to say. "Does this have to do with Wook confessing to you?" Her eyes widened for a second before she stared down at the ground. Jang Wook had confessed a while ago but he was drunk. She hadn't thought much about it, especially since they had all drank that night. She shook her head as she saw his reflection through the river. She could tell how hard he was holding onto the tears in his eyes. "No. None of this has to do with Wook. He did confess but I decided to break up with you."

He lifted his head, turning his whole body towards her. She reached for his hand, placing the necklace into his palm he felt his whole word cave in. A tear rolled down his face as he stared at the beautiful necklace. "I'm sorry, we should have never gotten engaged in the first place. I hope you won't hate me for it and we can remain as friends." She didn't wait for any response. She walked past him heading back to the bedrooms where her mother had been waiting for her. Tears rolled down her face as she felt the pain in her chest. She let out a small chuckle feeling some sense of relief. She patted her shoulder feeling proud of herself. "Good job, Nari." She whispered to herself. She wiped her tears away.
