"We only said goodbye with words, I died a hundred times. You go back to her and I go back to BLACK." - Amy Winehouse{}{}{}
A worker rushed to them, bowing his head, "Your highness, Akma is here." She turned to look at the worker. She nodded her head informing him to allow him in. Her eyes glanced at Wook, who was already looking at her. Akma bowed his head, approaching them with a smirk across his face. A smirk he never whipped off and enjoyed scaring people with. "Chin Sun and Mr.Lee, will you help prepare my mother's luggage's." Both bowed their heads excusing themselves and heading to the woman's bedroom. The tall male watched the two workers rush to his mother's room. He looked back at his sitter who had an emotionless look and a red mark on her left cheek. "Is she going somewhere?" Her green eyes watched how Hwan gasped in surprise. She screamed in excitement rushing to his arms with a welcoming smile. Nari took a step back looking down at the ground trying to hide the tears in her eyes. Wook stood next to her reaching for her hand trying to comfort her. She glanced at him, he gave her a small smile and nodded his head.
Her eyes looked at how her mother squished Akma's cheeks with the brightest smile across her face. She held onto him so tightly like he was her only child. Part of her wished for her to some day to look at her like that but part of her knew she would never. "Your highness." Sun handed her the luggage bag and the medication bag. The princess thanked the maid and took a step forward handing him the bags. "It's your mother's clothing and medication. I hope you'll be able to protect her and keep her now more than ever." Her brother stared down at the bag filled with pill bottles in confusion. He was unsure of why Hwan is taking that much medication. Hwan reached for her luggage not waiting for her son to carry it for her. "Oh.. I thought I should let you know. Mother won't last the end of this week. She refused to take the blood transfusion, and I pray you'll at least spend the last few days making her happy. You at least owe her that much." His eyes widened at the realization that he wasn't able to give her an instant kill. Yet, here she is still dying and choosing him above her own blood.
"You two should go, It's getting late. Goodbye mother." Nari bowed her head. Her eyes didn't meet her mother's or her brother's. She turned around to head back to her room but stopped at the feeling on a warm hand wrapped around her wrist. Her eyes widened and she let out a small gasp. She turns around staring at her brother and not believing what she has seen. She saw from her father's point of view the day he was murdered. She saw her brother's face crystal clear and how he laughed in front of him as he watched him die. Wook gripped Akma's hand taking a step forward protecting her from him. He smirked letting go of his sister's arm. "I see you kept your promise." The dark haired boy stood tall in front of the princess protecting her from him. He didn't show any type of fear in front of the dark twisted male.
"I'm not protecting her because of your stupid promise. I'm protecting her because unlike her family who abandoned her and chose the twisted adopted brother over blood. I do care deeply about her." Akma only chuckled, shaking his head. He rolled his eyes, taking his mother's hand and leaving. She stood there watching them leave. Her eyes followed how Hwan wrapped an arm around his waist with a smile that reached her eyes. A smile she had never given the girl. She let out a small sigh, her eyes continued to stare at the direction they left even when the gate door had been shut close. Thunder erupted through the sky and lightly struck in front of her. They all ran to find shelter except for the girl who stood in the cold pouring rain. Her green eyes looked up at the dark night sky, somehow enjoying the weather. Mudeok noticed how she stood in the center letting herself get poured with cold water. She couldn't imagine how she must be feeling right now.
