"What you need know is someone to listen to your story. You think, and think, and think only inside your mind and never let it out. No wonder your heart gets heavier and heavier. Am I wrong?" - Ri Eul{}{}{}
The blonde girl stood in the Jang household kitchen, and she chopped up some leftover kimchi. She asked Mudeok and Kim Doju to go out and not cook tonight. She wanted to prepare the dinner, she has been very thankful to the two of them for cooking meals for her. Also for them always checking up on her and making sure she was okay. Unfortunately the girl did have to return back to Alfea tomorrow morning, she had to finish preparing the coronation invitations, getting her body measured and helping with the decorations. She cut the green onions and the regular onions. She added a few of the ingredients into a pot and added water into it. Moving the pot into a stove, she turned on the fire with a snap of her fingers. She waited a few minutes for the water to start boiling before moving to the next steps.
Her head turned to the sound of the door sliding open, one of the maids bowed her head. She gestured to whoever is behind her to walk in. "Your highness, Prince Go Won is here." Nari bowed her head at the sight of the prince. He also bowed his head, he took a seat at one of the tables seeing that she's cooking something. The maid excused herself, leaving them two to speak privately. "So you do cook, I heard you didn't know how to and your maids spoiled you." She rinsed out the water causing steam to hit her face. She carefully set it back onto the stove making sure she didn't burn herself. She grabbed the rest of the ingredients and started to add them one by one. She wiped the sweat off her forehead with the back of her hand. "Yeah, those are just rumors. I actually enjoy cooking and baking for myself. Is there a particular reason for your visit?" She asked politely. She didn't want to come off as rude or ignorant but she didn't have a clue why he was here. Normally people would plan things with her unless they were Jang Wook who tends to surprised her every time.
She added everything she needed to the pot and waited for it to cook. She glanced at the bowl still half full of kimchi and she knew she couldn't let it go to waist. Instead she decided to do another dish which would include kimchi in it. "I realize our last conversation didn't end as I hoped it would. How has Alfea been treating you?" He asked out of curiosity as he sat there watching her. She had her long sleeves rolled up. Her long blonde hair up into a messy ponytail away from her face. She made sure to face a different direction, not giving him access to see her arms. "It's a beautiful kingdom. I have been in and out of the castle because of recurrence at Songrim. I'll be returning tomorrow." He nodded his head. His eyes looked at how she handled the heat. She didn't even flinch when the pan hissed or the oil jumped at her. He could tell she was definitely used to being in the kitchen by herself. "I heard you called off the engagement. Does it have to do with the coronation coming up?" He asked out of curiosity.
