The princess woke up at the sound of water dripping, she squinted her eyes trying to adjust to the lighting. Raising her hand up to her face she felt a wet warm small towel being placed on her forehead. Opening her eyes wider they landed on Mudeok who had been cleaning the dried blood and dirt from her body. "Mudeok?" She spoke softly, confused as to where she was and how the maid had found her. The maid helped her sit up on the rough hard bed in the infirmary. The maid placed a finger over her lips telling her to be quiet. "If you don't want them to know you're awake and for them to bombard you with questions, keep your voice down." The blonde girl nodded her head. Her green eyes squinted to an open door. She looked through the small crack seeing Suho, Park, Yul and Jang Wook standing outside talking. Letting out a small breath she brought her hand to her head.
She had this pint sensation, it was almost like needle stabbing into her skull multiple times. The feeling is worse than being completely hungover. Mudeok handed her a small teacup, and the girl took the cup while drinking from it. Her body relaxed at the flavor of lemon tea mixed with honey. "Nari, what happened to you? When I found you, you were covered in sweat, dirt and blood." She watched her best friend place the cup down. She rubbed the tiredness from her eyes and stared at the ground with a blanked face. The maid stood up from her chair and joined her on the hard bed. She placed a hand on Nari's, causing her to look at her. "You can trust me, I won't tell anything to any of them." The girl let out a small sigh. She placed her hand over Mudeok's, her eyes glancing at the small crack where she could still see the guys talking.
"I lied to everyone, including Yul. I told them I would be seeing Choyeon but in reality I went to visit my father. After that I was attacked by one of Akma's minions except it wasn't a minion but his best friend. One of my childhood friends." While letting that small piece of information out to the maid the door swung open. She closed her eyes in fear not wanting to look at their faces knowing they would all be disappointed in her. Mudeok removed herself from the bed, she bowed her head and exited the room allowing them to speak. "You lied to us?! How could you!" The princess jumped down from the bed onto the ground. Her eyes looking up and meeting Master Park's angry gaze. She ran her fingers through her long blonde tangled hair.
"Yes! I lied to you. I lied to you, to Suho, to Yul and to all the guards!" The girl removed the bandage off her forehead. She removed any more bandages, throwing them to the ground. Master Park took a step forward only to be stopped by the older Seo who placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm tired, tired of being followed by a guard. Why can't you just trust me that I can defend myself? I get it. I come from royalty and need to be protected twenty four seven but you forget. I was trained to protect myself and grew up here with just my maid. If you really want to know what happened then you will lower your voice and stop jumping to conclusions." With that they all sat in Master Park's office. She explained everything she could remember for that night. She only ever explained to the point where Hyun swung the dagger at her. After that she couldn't remember anything else or how she got back to Jeongjingak.
