"What's got you smiling like that?" Naomi asked wiggling her eyebrows, pulling my attention away from my phone.

"Ugh, get your mind out of the gutter." I rolled my eyes. "Naya was just asking if we're free for a movie night tonight," I explained.

"Yeah I can come, it sounds cool." She smiled as I texted Naya that Naomi and I were in. "By the way, have you guys talked about your kiss yet?" She asked, sending a kaleidoscope of memories and emotions through my body.

"N-No, but we have gotten closer I guess." I shrugged, I was just happy we were still friends.

"Bummer. I still think you guys would make a cute couple." She sighed and I rolled my eyes.

"So you've said, but don't get your hopes up, it's never gonna happen. I've seen Naya's type and it's not me." I shrugged as she frowned at me.

"Don't talk like that, I thought I wouldn't have anyone and then Gabe came along and somehow we ended up together." She smiled dreamily. I was happy for her after her terrible relationship in the past she deserved a good guy and Gabe seemed to be a good guy. "Oh, I know, we should go on a double date." She grinned.

"As long as it's not Naya. I know I said no to dating but at this point, if you know of anyone, I'll consider it. I'm willing to do anything to get over this stupid crush." I sighed and Naomi's eyes lit up.

"I actually do have someone in mind! His name is Damon, he's a friend of my brother's, he's in a band and he's been asking about you ever since I posted that selfie of us on Instagram. I can set up a blind date if you want?" She grinned.

"I'll think about it," I promised, as I checked the time, packing up my stuff to head to my next class, leaving Naomi in the library as she buzzed about the movie night.

The rest of the day went by fast, especially since Naya and I were texting for most of it, I even got to perfect Good Days on the violin before I had to leave. So obviously, as soon as I got the notes right I recorded a video and sent it to Naya, trying not to act as disappointed as I felt when she left me on read. Thankfully I managed to make it through all three of my tutoring sessions and by the time 5 pm rolled around and I made my way outside I was surprised to see Naya leaning against her car, waiting for me as she smiled like an idiot.

"What the fuck, you were so good Daniels, are you crazy? I played that video like a hundred times, you're so insanely talented." She congratulated me as she pulled me into a hug. "Do you wanna go celebrate?! Get some ice cream?! A doughnut?! Hell, we can even get some champagne!" She grinned excitedly, sending my emotions into a mess as I shook my head.
