Chapter 11: 1st Mission

Chan had called a meeting for all of them in his office. All of them filed in and sat around the room. Eisa was perched by Changbin and Felix, the latter was leaning up against Eisa as she and Felix sat in front of Changbin who was sitting in an armchair by the fireplace.

"Tomorrow we are going on a mission to retrieve some supplies that were stolen by iKon. The shipment had a small tracker on it so we know it's being housed in one of their storage facilities along the Han river. Felix and Han will remain here with Eisa. You two tap into any surveillance in that area. We need you to have eyes on us and any of them that might be in the area. " He turned to Eisa. " I need you to be ready to patch anyone up when we return. I am hoping nothing goes wrong but be ready just in case." He shifted his focus to the rest of the group. "Minho, I.N. Hyunjin, and I will go in and retrieve the goods. Changbin and Seungmin, you remain in the car but be ready to back us up if needed. Everyone is getting fitted with an earpiece so we will all be in communication with each other. That means you too Eisa. Just listen out for any injuries and start preparing ahead of our return." He motioned towards the door now. "Go rest up everyone. We leave tomorrow at 3 am so you have, 12 hours until we leave. Use it wisely and make sure to sleep. Dismissed."

Eisa moved to go down to the med but she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked back to see Minho holding her back. She glared at him but remained where she was. They waited for the room to clear.

"What do you want now? Haven't you annoyed me enough lately." Just looking at his face was enough to make her blood boil. Stupid attractive cat man. He rubbed the back of his neck looking her in the eyes.

"I'm sorry." She heard him say, but it was hard to hear since his voice was barely above a whisper.

"What did you say?" She tried to peek at his face. He turned and faced her.

"I'm sorry for how I acted. It wasn't right of me to listen in to your conversation and assume things." She stared at him for a moment debating on if she should forgive him or not. She sighed and gave him a nod.

"Just talk to me next time." She gave him a small smile and turned, leaving the room.

Minho smiled to himself before he realized what he was doing. Why did that make him feel so at ease? Why should he care if she hates him? He shook the thoughts from his head and left the room as well, heading for the shooting range to get in a few more hours of practice.

3 AM: Garage of SKZ Manor

Eisa rubbed the sleep from her eyes as she stood waiting for the members to head out. She gave Changbin a hug and reminded him again that he was to take it easy. She told Seungmin and I.N. to be careful to which I.N. laughed saying it was not him that needs to worry. Eisa shivered a bit. I.N. was the sweetest but sometimes, when he flipped that switch, he was downright terrifying. She gave Chan a big hug and told him to look after the kids, he gave her a huge smile. Hyunjin brushed past her and into the car without a word and Minho followed after, glancing at Eisa as she was talking with Chan. When she caught him looking he turned away and into the car. She watched as they all drove out of the garage and into the dark morning.

She checked in on Felix and Han then headed down to the med area.

"Check on Comms." A voice in her ear said. She squeaked in surprise hoping none of the others heard it.

"We have a mouse on the comms it appears." She could tell this was Han. She heard a few more chuckles over the line.

"Well excuse me for not being used to a bunch of strange men talking in my ear." She muttered loud enough that she knew they all heard her.
