Chapter 35: Bonding

Eisa worked slowly through the inventory list Seungmin had given her. All of the day's events, her brother's arrival, his evolvement in all of this, and the inevitable end to this war swirled in her mind.

"You know...I never meant for any of this to happen." A voice from her right said causing her to squeak in surprise. Her brother was standing behind her, eyes downcast. She turned to face him and hugged him, spying on Eric and Jackson talking with Seungmin on the other side of the room.

" I meant what I said upstairs. While this didn't start out as ideal, I am...happy here. I feel a part of something important and these knuckleheads have really become like family to me even though I have only known them a short amount of time." She hears him let out a snort and then a chuckle.

"You haven't though." She pulled back and gave him a confused look.

"Pardon?" She raised an eyebrow at him wondering if Chan had knocked him in the head during their meeting. 

"Known them a short amount of time." Henry gave a small smirk. This bit of information left Eisa in further confusion.

"I am still lost. What exactly do you mean by that little revelation?" She continued to look at her brother, trying her best to decipher his cryptic comment. 

"We used to spend time together here when we were kids.  You were really little then but I am surprised you don't remember. You loved coming here while Dad worked." To say Eisa was shocked was an understatement. How could she not recall a single memory of being here? 

"How young are we talking? Cause I literally have zero memories of being here." Henry chuckled.

"3 or 4 I think? Like I said you were pretty little. You did have that bad fall when you were here once so maybe...memory loss? Or you're just getting old." Eisa smacked his chest with a look of annoyance on her face.

"Pabo! You're older than me! I'll have to start calling you Grandpa Henry soon." Despite his teasing, she couldn't help but smile. She missed her brother more than she could ever put into words. "I wonder why none of the others mentioned this..."  She said this more to herself than to Henry.

"Chan brought it up when we talked. I think he was unsure if strolling down memory lane would help you feel more comfortable here or freak you out more." Henry shrugged and then grabbed the list from Eisa's hand. "By the way, the grumpy one was looking for you. Told him I would give you a break and send you upstairs." 

"Um, which grumpy one?" Eisa said, eyebrow raising once more.

"Your BOYFRIEND." He chuckled and started looking over the shelves of medical supplies. Shooting him a dirty look, Eisa walked out of the room heading upstairs to find Mr. Grumpy.

Eisa entered the living room, scanning the room for the grumpy cat lord. She saw Han and Felix, noses buried in their laptops, and Changbin who was reviewing documents with Yeji and Yuna. 

"Minho is looking for you," Han said without looking up from his screen. 

"So I have heard. Any idea where he might be?"  Han looked up finally and pointed in the direction of the stairs.

"He went up to his room after the meeting with Chan and your brother." Han then returned to his typing. Yeji looked up before Eisa turned to leave.

"Trouble in paradise?" She teased.

"If he were normal I'd say no but this is Minho we are talking about. He is always on edge about something." Eisa sighed.

"Did you talk to Eric? Could be our little Minho is feeling a bit jealous over your old flame." Yeji's tone continued to hold its teasing.
