A/N: There will be mentions of Woojin in here. I was not a Stay when everything went down with Woojin so I really have no feelings toward the situation. He is being used for story purposes. This will be the only in-depth mention of him. This will also be a bit of a heavier chapter. Thank you for understanding and enjoy!
Eisa opened the bathroom door and her jaw nearly dropped to the floor. A large clawfoot tub, large shower, and double sink/vanity area filled the room. Everything was marbled and elegant. She closed the door behind her and started the bath water. As she waited, she went to the shower and washed her hair. When she stepped out again the tub was nearly filled. She sunk into the warm soapy water, trying to wash away everything that had occurred in just a few days. Her father had been murdered, she found out he was working for the mafia and now she too would have to work for them to repay his debt. She sunk even lower in the bath so that just her eyes and nose peeked above the water. At least SKZ didn't seem like awful people. She frowned. Except for that Hyunjin. What was his problem? It wasn't her choice to be here. Minho also made her uneasy but in a different way. The way he just stared quietly made her shiver and made her feel like some prey being cornered by a panther or a tiger. She sighed and decided she had soaked enough.
She rose out of the bath and grabbed a large fluffy towel to wrap herself with. After applying some skin care to her face that she supposed Felix had left for her, she went back into her room to find something to wear. She found some soft black leggings and a large grey hoodie that she had tucked in her luggage before she left. The manor felt cold so she decided some warm fuzzy socks would also be a good idea.
She was just about to open the door to see if she could locate the kitchen when it opened in front of her. Minho was standing in the doorway looking at her with a quizzical expression. His hair was damp and he was wearing some black joggers and a white sweatshirt. Eisa stifled a giggle as she noticed a cat with its little paws out was displayed on the front of the sweatshirt. He rose an eyebrow at her as she tried to conceal her laughter.
"Did something funny happen?" He said crossing his arms and staring at her intently. Eisa coughed and then collected herself.
"Just didn't expect a scary mafia member to have such a cute sweatshirt." She stared right back at him. He looked down at his sweatshirt and then back up at her again, his expression not changing at all. He still had the same blank expression.
"I like cats. They're better than people." He turned away from her walking down the hallway before pausing again. "Felix said to get you for dinner. Are you coming?" He peered over his shoulder waiting for her to catch up to him.
He's so strange she thought. She couldn't tell if he was scary or just odd. She shuffled to catch up to him.
"What's for dinner?" She leaned a bit as she walked trying to peer into Minho's face. He looked back at her, and she could have sworn a small smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.
"We pulled out the Korean BBQ. Chan and Felix said something about celebrating the new addition." He looked over at her causing her to straighten up. "So, lots of meat and side dishes. Felix also mentioned he was baking some brownies too." Eisa's eyes lit up.
"Did you say brownies? Like homemade brownies?" Eisa looked like a kid at Christmas. It had been ages since she had some homemade brownies. All she was able to get at home were store-bought ones. She didn't have time to bake with all of her school schedules, residency, and job hunting.
"I am guessing you like brownies then. Be careful, these are deadly." He now full-on smirked at Eisa's worried expression. "They're deadly because once Felix knows how much you like them, he will literally make them every day. And you can never just have one of these brownies." Eisa relaxed and slapped Minho lightly on the shoulder.
