"Why be jealous when im the one dancing with you"

Austin asked to attend an event with him and at first I agreed happily that was until I found out that Diane was going to be there Diane is the girl that has been in love with him but to bad for her he's with me

"Baby you ready we don't got long" Austin asks walking in the bathroom I turn to him and he takes a minute to admire me "ohh baby you
Look absolutely gorgeous" he says as we puts his hands on my waist "really you d-" I try till Austin interrupts me "im going to stop you right there you're gorgeous now let's go beautiful"

We hop in the limo that we usually only take for events till we suddenly stop I look at Austin "we're picking up Diane" he says I give him a look and he takes my hand and kisses it "baby I promise my eyes are only for you" he says  I put my head on his shoulder and he kisses the top of it 

"Hey Austin hey y/n" Diane says as she gets in we both say hi as Austin intertwines our fingers
Austin and Diane talk the entire time while I do stuff on my phone that is till Diane opened her mouth "y/n why don't you be present in the conversation instead of on your phone" I look at her in disbelief as she has the fakest smile I've ever seen I look at Austin and he raises an eyebrow at Diane "I think she's fine Diane" he says "well I just think what your saying is so interesting she should be apart of it" she says I just roll my eyes as I see we're finally to the event

We step out of the limo and everyone starts to cheer and take pictures once we're on the carpet for a bit I tell Austin I need to use the restroom to which he nods and kisses me everyone cheers super loud to which I can only smile

I'm in the bathroom for a little till Diane walks in I pay no attention till I see she's staring at me in the mirror "yes Diane" I say "you know you're not right for him that little kiss you did didn't even get as many cheers as when me and him did just a little after you left actually god I feel sorry for you Austin doesn't need you and it's pathetic you put up with this little charade this long" she says walking into the stall

I sit there for a minute till I decide to see what she said is true I walk up to one of the photographers and tap his shoulder "excuse me" I ask "ohh miss l/n can I get a picture of you" he asks "yeah in one second could I ask a question" I say he nods "did Austin and Diane kiss a little bit ago" I ask "oh yeah everyone went wild I got a good photo would you like to see" he says "if I may yes please" I say he shows my the photo and my heart drops there it is clear as day

I take the picture for the man and thank him once again I don't bother looking for Austin I just find an empty table and sit there thinking of the next action to move on with

I sit at the table for two hours till I finally decide to go home once I reach home and take a shower and decide to play my music Elvis specifically and cry

Once I get out of the shower I see their kiss everywhere followed with a headline are y/n and Austin thru I lay there on the couch till I hear the door open "Y/N PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE HERE BABY IVE LOOKED EVERYWHERE" I hear Austin yell "you don't get to call me that" I say as I see him walking towards me "baby you gotta believe me this is a whole misunderstanding " he says I give him a sharp glare "what was it you said to me why be jealous when I'm dancing with you that's what you said to me when I noticed her flirting with you the first time I hated that she flirted with you and don't even get me started on what she said to me in the bathroom but a kiss what" I say as tears betray me as the begin to fall down my cheek

"Baby I know look I really didn't kiss her she touch my shoulder I turned and she kissed me look I got video" he says as he hands me his phone I watch the video and that's exactly what happened "what did she say to you in the bathroom" he asks as he scoots closer to me "doesn't matter you'll probably still bring her around" I say looking down to pick at my nails

"Baby" he says as he puts his finger under my chin for me to look at him "it's done she's gone your mine and I'm yours " he says "I really don't want to talk about it " I say to him "than we don't have too but can you please dance with me I've been waiting all night" he  asks as he turns the music on his phone and its "I can't help falling" I smile as he starts to hum along and reaches for my hand

I take his as he pulls me in I lay my head on his chest as we both hum along he kisses the top of my head "it's me and you against the world" he says I look at him "and time can't even stop us" I say as I finish our little quote he kisses me again and we continue to dance to at least three songs a feeling that feels so nice and one I'll never forget
