Elevator

The music in this elevator is so boring and I still have six more floors good thing I'm the only one in here that is till the doors open and I'm greeted with a familiar face

My ex Theo "y/n hi what are you doing here" he says as he steps in "my fiancé works here I'm here to visit him" I say "Fiancé geez that was fast" he says I just nod "oh we're going to the same floor" he says

All I do is give him a fake smile "how long have you and this fiancé been together" he asks making me roll my eyes this elevator ride could not be any longer "we started dating two months after we broke up" I say

"Wow you moved on fast" he says "what can I say he swept me off my feet" I say "aww common just admit you missed me"he says "what" I say as I turn my head to look at him just than he takes his hand and puts it under my chin and moves in "or is he just a rebound cause you missed me" he says getting closer to me

"Umm no i actually love my fiancé" I say moving away a little bit till im up against the wall but he just keeps coming up to me I feel the space around me get smaller as I start to panic I don't know what to do i feel trapped and im scared

"Common y/n stop acting like you don't miss me" he says just than the doors open and I push him away speed walking away I hear him call my name one more time but I don't stop

I get to my fiancés office I slam the door and slide down it and catch my breath as I sit on the floor "y/n are you okay mon amour" he says standing from his desk

"Austin love im so sorry I tried to stop him I swear I didn't do anything I'm so sorry" I say as I feel the air leave from my lungs I look at my hands and see that they are shaking

Austin comes and kneels in front of me "love breath what are you talking about" he asks as he takes my hands in his "t-the elevator he-he came on to me and I didn't know what t-to do" I say

I hold his hands for dear life scared that if I let go he'll leave me forever "love what happened in the elevator" he asks "please Austin please don't leave me I swear I didn't do anything" I say in a panic

He than takes his hand to put under my chin but than I flinch away " y/n please tell me what happen" he ask for what feels like the fifth time

But I can't focus everything feels like there mocking me "Austin I can't I just can't" I say he than takes my hand and puts it on his chest "breath with me love in and out" he says

We sit there and breath together after a few minutes I finally calm down "now can you please tell me what happened" he asked "I was in the elevator and my ex came in and was coming onto me and I didn't know what to do I swear I didn't do anything" I say

He than takes my hands and picks me up and hugs me we than separate and he looks at me and kisses me he takes my hand in his and opens the door "come with me" he ask but says at the same time

I give him a little nod as I intertwine our fingers he than goes to his secretary "i need the elevator footage" he asks her and nods as she looks at me she pulls it up on the computer and I look away as he gives my hand a squeeze

After he watches the whole thing he turns to me and he looks like he has steam coming out of his ears "stay here I'll be right back" I nod he turns to his secretary

"Can she stay here with you" he asks she nods and gives me a smile once austin leaves she turns to me "are you okay hun" she asks I smile and give her a nod "it's scary in this world for us ladies I understand why you were in a panic" she says

After we talk for a bit Austin comes back with him "yeah so Austin I'm glad you understand she's exaggerating" he says with laugh

"There's the lady of the hour" he says "hey can you pull up the footage again" Austin asked "yn how are you going to tell my boss on me common man stuff like that could get me fired" Theo says

"I-I " I try to say something but I have nothing to say "this is you right" Austin asks Theo

When Theo sees the footage his eyes widen as he can tell he's caught

"Yeah but she asked me to come onto her man" Theo says "but she said she was here to see her fiancé" Austin says "yeah but she's a cheater dude she did the same thing to me when we were dating" Theo says

"I never cheated on you all you did was accuse me there was never a moment you didn't accuse me in our relationship"I say Theo than rolls his eyes "what ever dude I seen your phone" he says all I do is shake my head

"Look Austin she's my ex girlfriend I know how she is" Theo says "so is that why she came to my office in a panic worried her fiancé would leave her for something she couldn't control" Austin says

"Look boss man I promise this girls a cheater and I'd tell her fiancé if I knew where he was" Theo says looking around "okay" Austin says shrug and goes to stand behind me and puts his hands on my waist

"I'm right here" Austin says Theo looks like his soul just left his body "I don't know what to say" Theo says and I look at Austin "how about sorry" Austin says "I'm sorry y/n" Theo says

"Get the fuck out of here" Austin says and all Theo does is nod "oh and Theo" Austin says making Theo stop dead in his tracks and turns around

"You're fucking fired" Austin says and all Theo does is nod yet again "okay fuck you y/n" Theo says walking away Austin moves to go try to get him but I stop him and shake my head "it's not worth it" I say and bring him into a hug

"I love you" he says "I love you too" I say he than picks me up and turns to his secretary "I'm going to be busy for a bit" he says making me laugh as he walks to his office
