Prom

Y/ns pov

it was prom day I got a beautiful dress all black to match my best friend's suit. I didn't get a date but he's as good as anyone I could've gone with "y/n Austins here" my mom calls I feel my body jolt with excitement. "coming" I yell as I get my heels on once they are on my feet, I rush down the stairs I see Austin holding a bouquet of white roses I give a little happy smile a I get to him he hands me them "thank you" I say as I pass them to my mom "are you ready" I ask.

he nods as were stepping out my mom stops us "umm excuse me I want pictures" she says shaking her phone in front of our faces which makes me, and Austin giggle a bit we do a few poses till my mom says "okay now give Austin a kiss on the cheek" we look at each other awkwardly.

till Austin finally shrugs and leans down for me to kiss him on the cheek my mom takes the picture with a laugh "alright you two kids have fun" she says as she closes the door

we get to the prom and the music is loud kids are vaping in the corner we were already warned someone dumped an extreme amount of alcohol in the punch and they were currently getting another batch.

Austin and I head straight to the dance floor we dance to a couple of intergenic songs till Austin lifts me up as I place my hands on his shoulders and he places his on my waist that's when all the music cut out, I just looked into his eyes with his beautiful smile.

I feel my heart quicken as I see Austin stare into my eyes he places me back on the floor and all we can do is look into each other's eyes I wrap my arms around his neck and his hands still on my waist.

"You look very beautiful tonight y/n" he says making me smile "thank you and you look amazing as well" I say "y/n I really want to kiss you" he says making my stomach fill with butterflies.

"what" is all I can muster out I look into his eyes and all I can see is love and lust "I really want to kiss you so bad" he says "okay" I say he then leaned in and kiss me I place my hand on the side of his face our tongues meet, and they seemed to mirror us dancing as if we were meant to be in this moment.

we separate and stare a each other connecting our foreheads "that was amazing" he says "mhmm" I say followed with a giggle "I've liked you for a long-time y/n" he says I feel my heartbeat quicken followed with a smile that I can't help but plaster to my face "I can't say I don't feel the same" I say.

I see his cheeks redden and a smile that goes from ear to ear without saying another word he kisses me again and I swear it's just me and him on that dance floor and the world revolves around me.
