Ch. 6: aftermath of the massacre

The Sun finally rises. Seeing that the threat is finally gone, the now conscious Minato order his Shinobi's to assists the people out of the Bunkers and back to their homes.

Kushina and her daughter's also leave the Hokage office and went to find Minato. After seeing the aftermath of the Massacre, the people and Shinobis couldn't help but shuddered.

Littered dead bodies, the amount of blood spilled everywhere in the village and the smell of the dead in the air cause everyone to shudderred in fear once again.

Everywhere in Konoha, sounds of screams from losing someone, be it family or friends were heard. Mourning's are happening in every corner of the street, especially in the Bunker that has the most death count.

Losing more than a quarter of the village population, the Hokage felt like wishing he had just a nightmare.

The lost of people means a massive decline in both business and village security. This is the 3rd massacre that happen in the village and the most death count, that people begun to think if Konoha is now a curse village.

First is the Kyuubi attack 12 years ago, where the beast killed hundreds to thousands of Shinobis and civilians combine.

Second is the Uchiha Clan Massacre, where Itachi killed his own Clansmen except for his little brother, Sasuke. Saying, it's to test his powers.

And now, for the Third time. Majin Garan have done the impossible. He alone challenge the entirety of Konoha's force and killed more than a quarter of the village population.

A feat, that not even the Genius, Uchiha Itachi can do or recreate. He killed 2 members of the Civilian Council, burn the evacuated civilians and survive the 4th Hokage's attack. Truly amazing!

[Hokage]

Jonin and Chuunin Ninja's were called to the Hokage Office, along with Kushina, the Clan Heads, 3 advisors and Jiraiya who was reverse summon to Mount Myoboku, then to Konoha.

Minato: I have gathered everyone here because I have information on the assailant. The one who attack Konoha and killed a lot of our Ninja's and Civilians is a... Kid. Yeah, you heard me right, it's a kid.

Everyone: What?! A Kid?!

Danzo frown slightly, the old warhawk is also shock that a kid can cause a dreadful massacre in the strongest village, but didn't show it. He is good at hiding his emotions.

He is different from the others who always react Everytime something happened. Minato continued while everyone's still shock.

Minato: he is at least at the age of 12-13 y/o. He wore a Metallic Mask that look like a grinning old man. He also kind of a happy-go-lucky kind of guy and he is strong too.

"He avoided my 'Odama Rasengan' with minimal effort and survive my new version of Hiraishin by using a Shadow Clone that even I had a hard time differentiating if it is real or not by making me focus more on the fight."

Jiraiya: Did he say something, anything, Minato?

Minato(nod): he said that he hate Konoha and everyone in the village. It is the reason why he attack even the defenseless Civilians.

Danzo: (Hates Konoha, attack the Civilians first and a kid? .....I see, it is that 'Kid'. That 'Demon' Kid did all this, interesting. His strength will be a fine addition to my Root, if he refuse then he will die).

Jiraiya(frown): Be it a kid, a woman, an old man or a crippled, if he/she attacked Konoha, then he/she is an enemy that needs to be put down.

Danzo(nod): I completely agree with Jiraiya. If that kid return, just give me call, Hokage-sama. I will gladly help in breaking his fangs.

Everyone agree with Danzo, even Minato saw the new side of the old warhawk. His methods may be extreme, but the Anbu groups he 'secretly' train (as he put it) are much more effecient in battle and covert missions than the Hokage's Anbu's.

After the meeting is over, everyone disperse. Danzo return to his base and summon his 2 trusted Commanders, Yamanaka Fu and Aburame Torune.

Danzo: You are my most trusted and most skilled Anbu in Root, I have a mission for the two of you. I want you to observe the son of the Hokage, everything he does will be included in the report.

"Even the slightest thing and the most useless thing he do, report it to me. No matter what happen, do not show yourselves to him and act with caution.

"Should he give out a his 'real' identify, do not attack him. Instead, invite him here. I want to meet him in person and recruit him to join us in Root. Understood?"

Fu/Torune: Hai, Danzo-sama! (Shunshin)

The nightmare that killed a lot of the village population, was later dub as: The Great Konoha Massacre.

Kushina: Minato, have you seen Naruto? Where is he?

Minato: Sorry, Kushi-chan, but I didn't see him. But, don't worry, I have already ask Kakashi, Gai, Asuma and Kurenai to find him and bring him back should they see him.

Naruko: I miss my brother. I hope that nothing happened to him last night.

Mito(nod): Yeah, the day after tomorrow is the graduation exam. I hope that he will come and pass the test.

Kushina: Don't worry, my darlings, I'm sure your brother is okay and will pass the graduation test tomorrow.

Minato: That's right, trust in your brother, I'm sure he got everything under the bag. (Though, I doubt it, because we did not train him in anything. Damn it, I really am a failure of a father, I even neglected my own son. I'm sorry, Naruto.)

Garan wake up and noticed that it is already pass noon. He had a smile in his face when he remembered what happened last night.

Garan(smile): Damn, I really did it and survive, huh. I'm sooooo freakin awesome, Dattebayo! Hahahahaha! The ecstasy, it's so addicting, damn it! Oh right, the Hokage saw me while I'm wearing my mask.

"Hmmm, what to do, what to do? Oh, I know! Guess, I will have to learn Genjutsu. There are only few people who can sense it, much less dispel it.

"It's a perfect way to still wear my Mask while no one notices, hehe. A perfect cover, indeed. But low level Genjutsu isn't enough, i need the Jonin level one.

"And that's where my 'Blur' and 'Shadow Hide' magic come to play. No one will know that their vaults and library were losing collections. Garan, you brilliant son of gun! Hahahahaha!"

A/N: Garan have found a way to still wear his mask even when in front of people, but will the Hokage find out? And the greedy and ambitious old warhawk have started to make his move, as well. What will Garan do now?
