After coming home from that awful meeting, I immediately fell asleep in my bed.

It wasn't until the morning around 7 AM, when I heard banging on my door, that I finally woke up.

"Wake up!"

Judging by the high pitch tune, it was Mariana. She must have arrive home after me last night because I did not see her at all yesterday.

I rolled out of bed and opened the door.

Mariana stood in front of me, looking the same as ever. She had wavy, long brunette hair. Her eyes were the color of caramel and she had the prettiest lashes I've seen. She stood a few inches taller than me as everyone in her family did.

She already had on her school uniform. I aspire to be as prepared as her for school but unfortunately, I was still in my dress from yesterday.

"Gosh, you don't look like a princess right now. Hurry up and get ready, breakfast already done," she denounced before shutting the door in my face.

What great ways to finally greet each other after all these years.

I went to the bathroom and got ready. The new school that I was attending had a school uniform code which consisted of a navy blazer and gray skirt. I put it on and applied some light make up to cover up my eye bags.

I checked my phone and realized that there was a message from an unknown number. It read, "Good morning, princess."

Who in the hell -

Then I received a photo, clarifying who the owner of the number was. And it was no more than the one and only Gavi. He had sent me a selfie of himself in his school uniform with a thumb up. What the hell was I supposed to reply to that?

I just ignored it.

But I received another text that said, "I'll see you at school."

I closed my phone.

I headed downstairs and saw that breakfast was prepared by Aunt Maria. It consisted of scrambled egg, fruit baskets, coffee, bacon, and much more. This was way better than the school breakfast I usually had back in England.

Mariana was sitting at the table, scrolling through her phone, not touching a single thing on her plate.

"Good morning, Leonor," Aunt Maria, greeted, once she saw me.

"Good morning, Aunt," I said, giving her a hug.

We sat down and joined Mariana at the table.

"Marian, get off that phone and eat your breakfast," she directed to her daughter.

Mariana rolled her eyes before putting her phone away. We started to feast on the food, listening to Aunt tell a story about her younger days.

Surprisingly, she hasn't talked about Gavi yet. Which was good because I was tired of hearing and seeing his name. Seriously, all the articles online were about us, especially after that shenanigan he pulled last night.

But it was a stepping stone in this relationship as the picture last night confirmed that we were dating and that this was not just rumors.

After breakfast, my aunt took us to school. There were a lot of security stops we had to get through to arrive on school grounds. The 300 million dollar security system invested into this school paid off well.

Aunt dropped us off at the parking lot, gave us a hug, said her goodbyes and left.

I followed Mariana, who didn't acknowledge my presence, into the building. It's like she was holding a grudge against me or something. For what, I didn't know.

The school was way bigger than my last one. The coexistence between male and female students stunned me. I was used to only girls gossiping and running around at my all girl boarding school. But now, there were testerone left and right, which left me in a dazeZ

Students of the highest distinction in the nation attended school here from star athletes to heirs of multibillionaire companies. And their high social class status could be acknowledge from the Gucci bags they had on to their Prada shoes.

Mariana told me to head to the principal office to get my schedule and then left me in the hallway by myself. How was I supposed to navigate this place when I never been here?

As I looked around for direction, I realized that I was getting stared at by literally almost everyone. Some were whispering about me, others were not. Have they never seen a princess before? Whatever the case was, I didn't like the judgement coming from them.

I panicked and pulled out phone and texted the only other person I knew here; Gavi.

"Where are you?" I texted him.

There was an immediate reply. "Meet me in room 101."

Desperate time calls for desperate actions and I made it my goal to meet Gavi.

I went through hell and back to find that stupid room 101. After talking to a kid, who looked at me in awe, he directed me to a room by the gym.

And when I reached room 101, I immediately regretted it.

I almost gagged at what I saw through the window. In the glory of my eyes was Gavi making out with a brunette girl. They were going at it on the table and I immediately walked away and back into the main hallway.

The bell rang just in time for everyone to squish through me, trying to get to their classes.

I could not get that horrendous image out of my head. Gavi's tongue inside her mouth, her hand grazing through his hair - it was too much.

Suddenly, I was was pulled aside by a bald handed man who ended up being the principal. He dragged me into the same hallway where Room 101 was located.

"I been looking everywhere for you," he revealed, handing me my schedule.

He began talking about how much of an honor it was to have me here and praised the royal family for their contribuirían to the nation.

But I later tune out his words when I saw the girl come out the room, followed by Gavi with an unbuttoned blouse, stained red lip and messy hair.

The whole time Gavi was staring at me, clearly taunting me. For what, I didn't know. What was the purpose of him calling me to room 101? To show that he was not committed to the relationship?

The both of them walked the other way, away from the principal, who couldn't see them as he was facing me and busy going on an intense rampage about his love for the royal family to focus on his surrounding.

Before I thought it could get even worse, Gavi had turned around and winked at me, sending chills down my body.

Why was he like this? I didn't know and didn't want to find out either.
