After the photos of Gavi and I being at the hotel leaked, our PR team did their best to save our image. They took down all the articles that had to do with us going to the hotel. They were also looking for the culprit behind the publication of the articles. But to their luck, they found nothing.

However, damage was already done. People were gossiping crazy about how I was basically a slut and impure. How I could not manage my image as a princess. How I was a bad role model to the younger generation. When it came to attacking a woman, the media loved to do that.

Actually, one of the reason why I moved back to Madrid was because of misogyny in the media. My family was getting tons of hate for it - for my mother scandal, specifically. To solve this out, we diverted it through my own scandal with Gavi. And it seemed the cycle was never ending.

The funny thing was no one said anything about Gavi. No negative press about him at all. You would have thought I was the only one going to the hotel when he was clearly there with me and nothing happened. We were in two separate bed, for crying out loud.

Nadia, my manager, was beyond pissed at me for getting myself into that situation. She yelled at me over the phone for an hour - hurting the hell out of my ear drum. The only way I could make it up to her was by attending the Debutant preparation dinner - and that's exactly where I was at.

It was a pretty dinner party held outside at a renowned garden in Spain. The scenery was absolutely beyond stunning. It was supposed to be a practice event for the official event next week and we were all supposed to talk and socialize and what not.

I sat next to Gavi and was bored to death. I kept playing with the bow tie that was attached to my dress, trying to occupy myself. He sat next to his stupid friends and kept making stupid jokes every five seconds.

I was just glad that they didn't bring up the news article. Though, I saw a few looks there and then from the onlookers.

The funny thing was when I cried in his garden, Gavi didn't cheer me up at all. He just looked at me until I stopped crying. I vowed to never cry in front of him again after that incident. Compared to now, he was some type of clown here, entertaining his friends - laughing left and right. What a totally different person.

I count down the hours until I could go home. Just two more hours until I was free. Until I could go lay on my clean, soft bed. Until I was free from this stupid socialization event.

Just then, a girl walked up toward our table and Pedri and Sebastian immediately went up to hug her. Was she some renowned celebrity? I have never seen her before. But their was a beautiful aura about her.

"Irene! What are you doing back here in Madrid?" Pedri exclaimed.

"I'm here to stay here for good. I got bored of studying in London," she informed. "And because I missed you guys."

"We missed you too."

Gavi fidgeted in his chair and whispered "shit" underneath his breath. It was as if he saw a ghost or something.

She looked over in our direction, then she came to Gavi and I. She ruffled Gavi's hair before saying, "You're not going to introduce the pretty girl next to you?"

Okay, intimacy.

"No, he's been so selfish and doesn't tell anything about her to us," Pedri said, wrapping his arm around her.

"Yes, he is keeping her all to himself," Sebastian added.

These two acted as if I was not in front of them. Lying on my name like this. It took two to make friends, and clearly, they were not trying to be my friend.

"Leonor, this is Irene. Irene, this is Leonor," he said, in

I smiled at her. Her eyes sparkled when she looked at me. She was a brunette with thick, wavy hair. Her eyes were the color of a green jade. She was a bit shorter than me but curvier than me in all the right places.

"You forgot to include the part where Irene is your ex," Pedri chimed in.

Oh.

He pulled me in closer. "That's all in the past. All I care about is this lady next me."

I smiled and she awkwardly smiled. I could see the tension between them. It was as if there was more to them than I could see.

"I'll go refill my drink right now," she said, excusing herself, breaking the awkwardness between all of us.

"I'll go with you," I added, freeing myself from Gavi grasp.

I went along with her to the bartender area. There was quite a long line of people trying to get drinks. Camila and Sophia also happened to be here. I held my breath in, prepared for them to verbally attack me and they did.

"Irene, what are you doing with the homewrecker over there?"

Irene looked over at me. "Are you referring to Leonor?"

"Duh, she obviously stole your man," Sophia said.

If only they knew that I didn't want him. If I could shove him back to her, I would definitely do that. I had my suspicion that they were the one who leaked the photos from the hotel.

"It's a trait that runs in her family. Her mom gots it, and so does she," Camila expressed.

I wanted to punch her in the face. Bringing up my family was where the line crossed for me.  I turned around to leave but suddenly heard a loud screech from Camila, causing me to look in her direction.

She was drenched in red wine. Her white dress had turned a maroon color. She was fuming angry and that made me a bit happy.

Irene had an empty glass in her hand.

This was a deja vu back to the first party I attended just last week where the red wine had spilled all over Camila. This time, Irene had done it on purpose while I had done it by accident.

"Oops, I accidentally spilled it," Irene said, waving her glass around proudly.

"You bitch!" Camila screeched before lounging at Irene.

Before I could even react, Sophia had pulled my hair. That left me no choice but to fight back. I punched her in the stomach and knocked her down onto the floor. Then I got on top of her and started to punch her - she kept scratching my face, trying to get me off of her.

Someone had pulled me away from her, snapping me back to reality.

"Geez, calm it down princess," Gavi said, holding onto me.

The rest of the girls were getting pulled away by the onlookers. Most of the people were recording on their phone and I could already see this being on the top news tomorrow. It was the consequences for my action.

Gavi grabbed napkins and wiped the blood off my hands.

"I didn't know you could be this wild," he commented.

"There is so little you know about me."

"Now I'm quite interested in you. I would love to know more about you," he expressed, sarcasm in his tone.

"No thank you," I said, getting up, wiping my hand onto my white dress.

The principal came running over, looking at all of us. "What the hell is wrong with you girls? Detention for the four of you!"

I ignored his words and looked over at Irene. Her hair was a big mess and her face was scratched up but it wasn't much, compared to Camila who had bruises all over her face. She was quite the fighter, I admit. This all began because she was defending me. It was nice of her to stand up for me. I felt a sense of comfort in her presence.

Irene saw me looking at her and smiled at me and I knew then, I made my first friend here.
