I had this urge to scream profanities at Gavi. But I didn't because it would not help in this situation. It would only add to the stress and problem. We were trying to find solutions not problems.

I remained calm on the outside while internally panicking on the inside instead. Gavi, on the other hand, looked stress judging from his arched eyebrows and worried eyes.

It's what he gets for getting us lost in the first place.

After a few more minutes of driving, we finally saw light coming from a house. That meant there was a sign of hope. It meant there might shelter available and maybe, internet and cellular connection.

"Finally," he said.

He drove toward the light and we eventually arrived at the house or should I say inn. It was a three story building and it was more of traditional inn. The place was called "Velvet Inn" and it seemed to house guests judging by the multiple cars that were out here.

"I'll get out of the car and see if we could find help here."

He got out of the car and into the inn. I prayed for his safety because if he didn't make it back alive, I wouldn't either.

After a few minutes of waiting, he came out of the building and told me that there was space for us there. I entered the inn with him and went up to an old lady at the counter.

The whole lobby was empty which was good because there would be no cameras or attention on us.

"Is there a gas station around here?" Gavi asked.

"There's one a few miles away from here but it opens at eight," she informed.

"Alright, we'll stay here for the night," Gavi said.

"There's only one more room left unoccupied. Would you like that one?"

"We'll take it."

Gavi gave her his card and the transaction went through. Luckily, she didn't ask us for our identification card or anything. It would be a disaster if the press find out we were at a hotel together. The stories that they spin would be out of control.

The room was at the third floor level and we pushed the door open. I sigh in relief when I saw two bed on the floor. There was no TV, tables, or anything, it was just empty except for the two bed. Gavi threw himself onto the first bed. So uncivilized.

This room was not like any hotel room I have slept at. It was tiny and lacked colors or designs. But it was either this place or the car that I had to choose between and I definitely chose this place.

"You never been to a place like this before, have you?"

I nodded my head.

"Right, sometimes I forget you're a princess."

What was that supposed to mean?

"I'm taking a shower," he suddenly, announced.

Huh?

Not with me in this room, he isn't. That was just absurd. There was a time and place for everything, this currently was not the place or time for this.

"Do it tomorrow, I have to sleep."

"No, I have to take care of my hygiene," he insisted.
