He has arrived

I'm cleaning down the counter at Luke's listening to Rory talking to mum about being late for her first day at Chilton. Emily only wants Rory to go there, so currently I'm at Stars Hallow high. My grades are pretty good as long as I graduate. Over to my left a bunch of boy scouts are shouting orders at Luke and he is arguing back, I chuckle to myself and smile. Just then the phone rings so I go to grab it. "Hello Luke's."

"Hey y/n it's Liz."

"Hey Liz I'll get Luke."

"Luke!" I call

"Some lady is on the phone saying you gave her food poising and now she wants to sue."

He groans loudly and takes the phone!

"Your not funny y/n. Come on a little funny."

He gives me a small smile and nods to go to school. I grab my things from the kitchen and head out the diner saying goodbye to Luke, Mum and Rory and head to school.

Next day I'm at Luke's sitting on the counter Infront of the Food hatch reading my book. The bell chimes I hear Luke voice

"Y/n, this is Jess my nephew he is going to be saying here and working with you."

Without looking up from my book I simply wave. Luke and Jess disappear upstairs and I start pouring coffee for people. I turn around and end up bumping into Jess

"Shit, sorry."

I stare into his brown eyes and I must say they are quite stunning, we stare at each other for like 40 seconds and he just walks off out

"Emo wanna be, at least say something when someone apologised!" He just keeps on walking. I finally get a look at him, think he looks cool and a bad boy but I must say he's hot.

The Next day after school I head to the lake I spend hours there smoking and reading until I head home. When I get home Mum informs me that Luke and his nephew are coming for dinner, I nod and head into the kitchen, I kiss sookie on the cheek and help her and Jackson with some cooking. After a while the doorbell rings. Luke and Jess come into the kitchen I turn around and heads straight to Luke to give him a hug while Jess goes into Rory's room.

I'm coming out the bookstore to the stars and moon above me and light up a cigarette I start to walk home

"Hey." I hear next to me, I look over and roll me eyes

"Hey Emo, that was quite the disappearing act you pulled the other night." I looks at me and chuckles, "Potluck and Tupperware parties aren't really my thing."

"Too cool for school huh,?"

"Yep that's me." He stops Infront of me holds up his hands and makes a coin disappear in his hand. "

Little tip if you ever want to talk to me again, don't pull that out my ear."

"So the nose is off limits."

"Any place you wouldn't naturally find a coin." It was silent for a bit as we walk. He turns to me and say "I'll leave you this last little trick." He goes to hand me a book.

"Wow, you read and brought you first book, good for you."

"It's yours actually." My eyes widen and I snatch my book back.

"You stole my book."

"No borrowed it."

"Okay, that's not called a trick that's called a felony."

"Just wanted to put some notes in the margin for you." I look through the book and indeed is notes in the margin, I smile at this and look back up at him.

"I'm sorry I say I just a assumed you didn't read."

"No problem and uh..sorry for the other day at the diner, I don't read much BTW."

I shrug my shoulders and lean back "Well" I say, What is much"

He looks at me and smirks " Night Y/n."

"Night Dodger" I turn to walk home.

"Dodger" he calls back, with out turning around I shout

"figure it out" I inhale the last of my smoke since I complete forget about it

"Oliver twist" I hear behind me, I throw my cig on the floor, turn around nod my head and smile at him. I turn back around and walk home.
