All 3 of us are having breakfast at Luke's, Me and Rory are spending the whole day at the book store because new books have arrived last night, we want to be the first ones there I get up to go to the counter to pay Luke is there.

"Hey Luke"

"what did you did you find a nail in your food?"

"There's nothing wrong with the food, I just wanted to Thank you."

"for what?"

"for the care package"

"what care package" Behind Luke Jess springs up now taking over.

"Hey Luke, I think they hit the water line again." Luke storms off.

I look at Jess and I'm grinning ear to ear "Huh, Interesting"

"You want to pay"

"I don't think Luke knew anything about the food last night"

"That will be $12.50"

"Which means you lied about why you came over"

"I don't have courters, I'm going to give you nickels"

"Now why would you lie about something like that?"

"Here's your change, come again soon."

"You wanted to come over"

"I have to get back to work"

"You're squirming, I've never seen your squirm, it's very entertaining."

"oh yeah"

I hum in response, I turn and grab Rory and head out to over the bookstore.

Jess Pov-

I watch y/n and Rory head out and walk across the town, Luke slides up next me with and shit eating grin on his face.

"You like her, don't you?"

"Don't know what your talking about?"

"Come on Jess, You like her I'm many things blind is not one of them"

"I don't like y/n so can we just drop it"

"I never said a name"

"what?"

I said you like her, I did not say you like y/n"

I froze for a split second realizing what I just said "I got to go to school" I start to head out the diner

"It's Saturday, you don't have school."
