The best day of my life

We finished eating and was heading back to my bike, we passed by an open house and just had to go inside. The house was beautiful. Some lady in a suit came up to us asking weird questions.

"Hey, aren't you two a little young to be looking?"

"Hello, yes we get that all the time thanks for saying, my boyfriend Edgar and I have been looking for the perfect place to raise our beautiful little Howl" I rub my stomach to show the effect.

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't realise! Congratulations, I'm Helen I'm selling my house. I have to go now but another question please let me know?

"We will Thank you so much, I'm Jane by the way."

She smiles and leaves. I turn to Jess and we laugh heading to the drinks table.

"Nice touch on the child's name. So what now?" Jess asked

"I thought you would like that one and because Helen over there just assumed we are too young. Me and you father of my invisible child are you to head upstairs and steal their shit!

"You read my mind lets go"

After stealing shit we head back to the bike go home, we pull up just behind Luke's and we both get off the bike.

"Well I had fun today Edgar, Enjoy the rest of day I'll see you later" I turn round and start to walk away.

"You're just going to walk away like this never happened"

I turn around "That's what professionals do right?"

"Y/n I just had the best day of my life"

"Jess, you're going to blow our cover"

"Look I don't care about my cover y/n, I don't care If your mum, Rory or Luke finds out, I don't care if this whole freaking towns. Look, yesterday I barely knew who you were and today....I'm like Y/n Gilmore and honest in my limited experience that's rare. That's like really rare."

I'm standing there frozen not know what to do or say. Jess snaps me out of my thoughts when he hooks both thumbs into my belt loops and pulls me towards him. He bring one hand up and brushes my hair behind my ear and rest it on cheek. He learns in and put his lips to mine, I automatically kiss him back. Fireworks are going off my stomach is doing tons of flips.

After what feels like forever we pull back forehead together smiling at each other.

"I have to go Rory is tutoring my later and I would really like to get it over with so I can see you later"

I smile and nod I slowly turn away and start heading to the bridge so I can scream and probably do a weird dance, I press my fingers to my lips and smile even bigger. I get home after a hour and mum is in the living room.

"Mum, I need to tell you something and you cant freak out because I'm freaking out also so I just need to say this really quickly. I kissed Jess. I kissed him and it was really good and I really like him but I feel like something is going to go wrong."

My mum jumps up wraps me in a big hug and now we are jumping around screaming, the phone rings and mum goes to pick it up. Her face goes pale while see is talking then hangs up the phone.

"Mum, what happened?"

"Rory is in the hospital"
