Bracebridge Dinner Pt 2

At the inn I am handing out keys with my mum to people as they check in, I see Rory standing alone looking nervous so I go over to her and pull her into a hug, just as Dean and Clara come to us Dean kisses his girlfriend and hugs me. Me and Clara are joking around and I'm spinning her in a circle. 'didn't know he was coming Dean says. Who? Rory replies. Jess.' I look over to him as he is taking off his coat and look at Rory and she is smiling at me, I nudge her and give her my stern face. Just as I look back at him they arrived my all so loving Grandparents. I roll my eyes and walkaway to find some alcohol, not doing this shit sober, I walk past someone with a flask and steal it from the table, I down the thing and head to find a bar and grab whatever I can find, fill up the flask.

Jess comes over to me while I'm at the bar. "Hey,"

"Hey, got a bear?" I pass him one and head to the lobby where my mum is going off about a horse and carriage ride. I roll my eyes and go to find Rory. Clara is with Dean and just as I'm about to get Rory, Paris runs over saying something about study and she needs Rory. Rory sends me an apologetically looks but I just hug her and send her on her way.

I get on the sleigh all alone and he heads off. I grab my flask from my pocket and starts drinking it. The carriage shakes to me right and I look over

"What are you doing?"

"Well heard it was two a sleigh, no more, no less, you were breaking the rules."

"You could of hurt yourself."

"I live on the edge, I can jump out if you want."

"Doesn't matter to me."

"You made at me or something?"

"Nope" I swig my flask. "So who did you get into a fight with? "Chuck Presby!"

"Oh yeah, Chuck Presby is a jerk he needs a punch, Well done!" After another swig of my flask I say "Why are you here, schools are why not go home?"

"My mum didn't want me too."

"Lets my guess Luke told you it was his idea to stay, Even thou it wasn't." He turns to me with a surprised looked on his face then smiles a smile I have never seen before.

"BINGO" is all he says. I had him over my flask he takes it and swigs it, after a couple of minutes Jess ask my why I wear a charm bracelet all the time and what the different charms means, Luke brought me the charms and bracelet for my 13th birthday. it had different charms on it like a skateboard, when Luke taught me, a bike, a book because I like to read, a music note for well music. Its also has the initials L and Y/N. Its a symbol of our bond, when I turn 18 I will shock Luke when I get a new charm he knows nothing about. Jess promise to keep it a secret lets hope, we ride the rest of the way in silence with my flak and our books which we swap at the bar earlier.

We reach the inn and the wing has made my hair a mess, Jess holds out his hand for me to take to get off and I grab it and stumble he manages to catch me in his arms, he brings up his left hand a push a stand of hair behind my ear. We just stand there staring into each others eyes. I step away and head inside to dinner. The next morning everyone is saying their goodbyes. I look up at Jess to see him leaving he looks and turns trying to hide a smile, but Rory is next to me, Is he smiling at her?
