Often I saw you try to take a peek
We were only two teenagers
Nothing but meek
You always asked me questions
And I'd only wish to respond with, "What are the answers you seek?"What are my favorite colors?
Well, obviously the color of your eyes
They're something majestical
Better than all the other guysYou asked what my favorite food was
I sat and replied, "Scalloped Potatoes"
You made no response
And only frowned while looking at your toesQuestion after question
Was there no room to make a suggestion?
The answers I provided
Only left you seemingly disappointedThen came the day you asked an odd question
You asked, "What is it you wish to ask me?"
To which I said, "Truly, what are the answers you seek?
For I thought we were lovers who were only meekBefore you answer me, dear
You better listen here
And I hope you understand me
Loud and clearEvery answer that I've given
Simply made you frown like it was forbidden
Here I am not complaining once
Yet you want to go and act like a dunceI was tempted that you would be better
I'd rather claim someone else as my lover
Nothing in this world that I do or say satisfies you
Although saying this might be cruel,
Something bad oughta' happen to youI've been through hell and back
And I still loved you even though there were things you still lack
All the things I've done clearly weren't enough
But know what I'm saying will never be bluff
I rid you from my life
So leave me alone
I do not want you back
And I will NEVER be your wife
