Slipping on my long purple dress, I glanced at my outfit through the full-length mirror.

I look lovely...

I sat on my bed and took my black heels and placed them on, I grabbed my handbag and sauntered out of my room,  locking the door I hastily walked towards the entrance of the building because that's where Veronica told us we should all meet.

I stood at the entrance of McGill's campus, glancing left and right to catch a glimpse of David or Veronica had arrived.
I decided to text them to find out how far they might be.

I unlocked my phone and tapped on our group chat where we normally converse altogether.

**Annelisa**
Good morning everyone, I'm already prepared and I'm waiting for you both at the entrance. I hope y'all will be arriving soon.

I typed as fast as I could.

**David**
Good morning Annelisa, I'm on my way. I'll be there in 2 minutes.

Veronica didn't respond to my message probably because she didn't see it yet.

I waited patiently for David to arrive, I glanced at my watch it was 7:00 am.
Veronica told us that the church service starts at 8 am. So we aren't late.

I spotted David walking towards me in a well-groomed suite.
"Wow." I beamed at him.

He stretched his arms out to hug me and I wrapped my arms around him once he stood next to me.

"Finally," I remarked.
"I thought I would stand here by myself for hours."

"Oh no, I wouldn't let that happen." He pulled away from our hug and caressed my cheeks.

"You look so handsome" I winked at him.

"Thank you, you look gorgeous as always."

"Thank you so much." I blushed.
"Veronica hasn't texted you about how long she'll take, did she?"

"No, she hasn't." He replied.

A few minutes later, I turned my head to the right and I saw a black S.U.V. halting in front of us.

The windows of the car lowered and the door opened.

"Hey, come in," Veronica proclaimed, Jumping out of the car.

I smiled.
"I'm so glad you're here, we've been waiting for so long."

She chuckled. "It wasn't that long Annelisa."

I climbed inside the passenger sit at the back and as I sat down I locked eyes with a guy that has captivating blue eyes, his wearing a blue shirt and black jeans.

The blue shirt matched his eye colour...

"Hi." I greeted him, with a friendly smile.

"Hi, how are you?" He responded stretching out his hand.

"I'm good thanks and you?" I shook his hand and he continued to gaze at me.

"I'm great." He answered, I pulled my hand away and sat comfortably.

David climbed in the car next and Veronica was the last, we all sat comfortably in this large S.U.V

"Mom, Dad, Noah meet my friends David and my best friend Annelisa." Veronica introduced.
