Sayton

Chapter 1

Payton saw him from across the pool as he walked through the door. He has the perfect swimmer body and his glasses complement his beautiful stormy blue eyes. He walks with a stride of confidence knowing that he will finally ask out the girl of his dreams. He notices Payton on the other end of the pool, swimming as if she hadn't seen him come in.

He rushed into the locker room to change in order to not miss a moment of her beautiful face. He quickly grabs his equipment and jumps into the pool beside Payton, splashing her. Payton know slightly irritated says, "Simon for the last time watch out for other people!" Simon answers her in a failed attempt at being funny "your mom need to watch out for people." Payton rolls her eyes and leaves him pushing off the wall to finish the warm-up set.

Both swimmers had always held back there feelings for each other, and hid there feelings behind light teasing and sarcastic remarks. But today everything is going to change. Simon is going to finally ask Payton out on a date, in hopes that she will one day be his girlfriend.

His plan is simple yet he is still nervous of what Payton will say. Will she agree to go out with him? Or will she turn him down completely? If she turns down his offer he would have to face her every day remindedof her rejection. He is planning on asking her out before she goes into the locker room after practice, he's planning on handing her a rose, and asking her to dinner at Anthony's. Towards the end of practice he sees the perfect opportunity to put his plan into action. She is putting her equipment away as he walks towards her she slips and falls right into his arms. He helps her to her feet, hands her the rose, Looks into her forest green eyes and says " I think you just fell for me". Payton looks back at him and when she realizes what just happened she can feel her checks burning. After a few moments she is finally able to react. She stutters a few incoherent words and sprints into the locker room.

Simon rejected but still determined waits impatiently outside the pool building. After what seems like an eternity Payton walks out of the locker room. Her hair, still wet is put into a messy bun, slight curls frame her face. Simon has never been able to find a single flaw, to him Payton is perfect. She sees him and blushes again, and feels bad for running away and decides to hear him out. Simon approached her and starts to ramble. Finally he finds his words and says " Payton I'm sorry I know I caught you off guard there but was just wondering if you would want to go out to eat sometime. You can say no if you want to but-" Payton. Cuts him off mid sentence and replies in the answer that Simon had always hoped for. She says yes.
