Payton got home and immediately texted her two best friends friends. She told them everything, even what they both ordered and wore. All girls were up till the late hours of the night talking about what could else could have happened, and what ifs.

Saturday was slow and boring followed by an even slower Sunday. Payton was both excited and nervous to see Simon at swim the next Monday. Simon was having the same feelings because he hoped the date didn't make things awkward between the two of them. He hoped that they could continue dating and become a couple.

School on Monday went surprisingly fast for the two teens and soon they were both arriving at swim. Payton a little late due to traffic. Simon watched from across the pool as Payton walked towards the girls locker room, and again he watched as she got out and entered the pool. Soon though he noticed that one of Payton's friends had noticed his watching Payton. Simon quickly looked away and tried not to stare for the rest of practice in order to come of as a normal person and not a stalker.

There was a small break in he middle of practice that Simon took to go talk to Payton. He Hoped her friends wouldn't make it difficult. His hope fell to the bottom of the pool soon after he said "hey, Payton h-"

Simon was cut off when her friends turned around "why did you take her on a date?" Asked one. "Yeah what do you want from her?" Retorted the other.

"Well I... Um. I like her. So I-" he was cut off again this would be harder than he anticipated. The girls started bombarding him with questions that he didn't want to answer. He could see Payton behind them, she looked like she was enjoying his embarrassment. Luckily Payton spared Simon any further questions by pushing past her friends saying "leave the guy alone he just wanted to talk to me, I'm fine."

"I just wanted to ask you if you enjoyed our date." Simon said a little shyer than normal.

"I did, it was fun, And the food was very good."

"Oh and I wanted to give you my number because I don't think I have it."

"Okay. let me go grab my phone from my bag, one sec." Payton left. Leaving Simon once again alone with her friends. That didn't talk to him but he shivered under there glare.

Payton came back with her phone and handed it to Simon, there hands momentarily touching. He entered in his number into she contacts and, Payton did the same to his phone. The two teens would have kept talking but there coach started yelling for everyone to get back in the pool because they had a whole half hour left of practice.

Practice ended quickly and everyone rushed for the showers. Payton usually stayed in the locker rooms and talked to her friends, but her younger brother had a basket ball game right after her swim practice that she had to attend. While she was waiting outside the swim center for her dad to pick her up, Simon walked out of the doors behind her.

Simon knew this was his chance. He saw Payton outside and quickly formulated a plan. He walked outside and stepped I front of Payton. He lightly grabbed her hand and kissed her cheek, and said. "I really enjoyed our date too, and would love to go on another sometime."

Then he walked of, got in his car and drove away. He looked back at her as he left though and saw that she was blushing.

Payton was shocked. Simon had just kissed her! She didn't have time to fully proses what happens because then her dad pulled up to the curb and she had to leave.

Payton knew she liked Simon, but if they got into a relationship would it work?
