Shortly after meeting with the Shogun. Both Kaiden and her went around the whole city of Inazuma, there. Kaiden observed many people watching in awe for the Shogun. Though faint, he noticed some of them were glaring at him, most of it was the women. Wives and daughters, mothers and aunts. But he ignored their glares and stares as he continued to follow the Shogun from behind.
They left the main city and explored the outskirts of the city which was called Hanamizaka. Seeing it just from the gates alone, Kaiden was impressed as e saw a big sakura tree and a lot more buildings, people minding their own business and even giving respects to the Shogun as soon as she passed by them.
"Shogun-sama! Thank you for the other day!" One villager yelled.
"Yes, thank you. Shogun-sama! You have helped us so much!" Another said.
"Thank you, Shogun-sama!" Yelled out another.
The Shogun stopped walking to look at her subjects and she nodded her head gracefully and the people loved her for that. Kaiden just observed in silence. After that little show, both the Shogun and Kaiden continued on to explore the whole area. The Shogun noticed that Kaiden wanted to speak, so. She addresses him.
"Do you have something to say to me, Loona?"
"Maybe. First, it's Luna, not Loona." He corrects her. "Second. You seem to be very popular here."
"Of course I do, I protect my subjects just as a ruler does. Does your Emperor not do the same?"
"No, he doesn't," Kaiden answered. "That's why he has us, his swords and shields... We are his vassals in keeping the peace."
"Yet you try to conquer other lands rather than keeping the peace."
"True... I won't deny that but what does your hand do? It gives, it takes, and it bawls itself into a fist to protect or attack. That is what we are to the Emperor and the Empire as a whole."
"Hmm... That is a good analogy." The Shogun was impressed. "Alright then, humor me. What did you do to give? What did you do to take? What did you do to bawl yourself into a fist to protect and attack?"
"What I gave is to the people, hope to those who had none, what I took was my own chance to live a normal life, to sacrifice myself for a greater cause better than myself. And for the last part? I do not know..."
"You do not know?"
"Yes. I do not."
"I see."
Raiden Shogun pondered on what Kaiden said while the two walked around the whole of Hanamizaka. As they continue to make the rounds, the two heard the sound of hoof steps getting closer and closer, acting on instinct, both Kaiden the Raiden Shogun looked to see who approaches and they saw a man on top of a horse, all beaten up and battered. There were scratches all over his forearms and there was one on his face.
