A moment of silence finds itself throughout an open field. The only thing one would see in the whole area was the beauty of nature, the entire field was filled with verdant grasses and plants ever so gently pushed back and forth by the cold and calming winds. Looking upward into the sky, one could see yet was unable to reach the heavens above. The skies were reflections of the seas below them. Seeing all of these things was considered to be peaceful.
In one of the islands of Inazuma, more specifically on Narukami island, a man meditates alone in solitude, hearing the waves crashing against the earth and the sound of the winds blowing in several directions, the man himself was at peace. Evident by just looking at his face. Yet while he relaxes, his meditation continues and as time passes, his relaxed face started to crack. His brows furrowed and his face crumples as his meditation brought forth a vision.
In his vision, the man could see five soldiers surrounding what seems to be a lion but it was different. The color of that lion was white, not brown which was strange yet the man continued to meditate, curious to see what else he sees in his vision. The lion itself was already being cornered. His soldiers' naginatas point at the white lion as it continues to defend itself. It was fierce and strong. It even took the life of one of his men. The lion, ever so desperate to run away saw the man, and instead of fighting the other soldiers. The Lion sets its sights on him.
The lion roared loudly as it could and the soldiers were shaken. What was the lion going to do? They all thought. They then get their answer. The lion then charged towards the man who sees everything from his point of view while the soldiers were surprised by this, they then lung their naginatas and even stabbed the lion on several parts of his body. One from the legs -both left and right- then on his stomach all the way to his chest. But the Lion didn't care, it still charged in full of zeal, and when it got closer. The Lion pounced on the man but before anything could happen. The man opened his eyes, his breath was shaking but he wasn't pale. He looked upward into the skies and relaxed.
"What was that vision I see...?" He asked himself, his voice was shaky because of his visions. His heart thumps but it slowly subsides as he calms down. He looked at both sides to see that he was still on the edge of a cliff, below that cliff was the sea with spiked stalagmites pointing upward. He then looked straight to see a small shrine carved out from a rock.
The man stood up after kneeling down in front of the small shrine. He was tall in height, had a well-built physique, and his shoulders were broad. His features include his rugged yet scarred face, a goatee beard, and his hair tied up in a knot. Only wearing a black-colored kimono while a black-colored haori was worn over his kimono.
The man looks up to see the skies as they turned from a blueish calm to a more violent and gray one. Dark nimbus clouds overshadow the once calm skies as it roars, lighting rumbles inside those clouds, and the man only said one thing. "A storm is approaching..."
