Chapter 5: Sticks And Stones Will Break Your Bones, But A Spinosaurus Will Kill You

Spine Breaker was fed up, and tired. He was set on fire 2 days ago, and the only food he had been catching was fish. He also hadn't been able to find the humans responsible for burning him. He vowed that when he caught them, he would kill them, and every single last other human that was with them.

Spine Breaker POV: Gahhh! Stupid Fish! You think you are enough to satisfy me!? Why doesn't the river have bigger creatures!? Grrrrh! *Thump* Uh. Huh? What was that!? *Thump* There it is again! Where are you coming from!?

Narrator POV: Spine Breaker ran for 15 seconds, before he came to the source of the noise. A herd of Brachiosaurus. He could now feel the vibrations coming from their footsteps. Normally, he wouldn't dare mess with them. But this was not a normal situation. He hadn't eaten anything but fish for 2 days. He was desperate. He saw they were approaching a cloud of mist. Perfect. He went to the side of the mist, which had a lot of trees, which also meant there weren't a lot of places to fit. He heard the leader yell, " Keep your senses keen! There might be predators in here!" Spine Breaker rolled his eyes. If they were in a cloud of mist with predators, the predators wouldn't have noticed them, aside from the foot steps. But now that they yelled that out, predators would definitely be coming for them. As if to prove his point, a T-Rex came from the opposite side, grabbed a Brachiosaurus with his jaws, and dragged him out of view. The sauropods were now shaking, and very uneasy. The time to strike. He saw a big opening in the trees, a Brachiosaurus walking next to it, and an opportunity to strike. He ran for it. He grabbed it's back half with his claws, and pulled it back. It was hard to keep a grip when the thing you were gripping was shaking violently, not to mention screaming. He grabbed it's neck, and *snap* the deed was done. He let go, and everything dropped to the floor. His now crimson claws tore open its side, and his hard work gave him something to chew on.

Literally. Wow, that took a while to write. I might take a break from this and write some other stories.
