Chapter 2

We went to our rooms to get ready for the banquet. We were led the other way around to make sure that we didn't see the sword hall where the banquete will be held. Although I think it's very needless, but my persona would definetly act up right now, so I'll need to act so that the disciples don't get suspicious.

"Hey. I want to see the sword hall. I should be able to" I said, but my real self felt disgusted with how I was acting against the poor disciples. They were just doing their job, and my dumb persona was making it harder for them to do what they were told to do.

"I'm sorry Senior Wei, but we got strict order from Madam Yu that you were to be guided through the other way around so you would not be able to see the sword hall. You are to follow this as it is an order. Please don't get us in trouble Senior Wei" the first disciple said. Oh, I feel so bad for them. I just wanna hug them and say sorry, but just because of this persona I need to act like somebody else from who I really am.

"'sigh' Okay" I said, a little smug since that is what my persona would have done. The disciples looked content. They must be new ones. Rookies. Oh no, now I feel even more bad. Either way, I slowed my step a little so that they would be ahead of me and I was little bit behind, and they didn't even notice. God, I hate getting disciples in trouble, but they can't know how I really am.

I ran away on silent feet and started towards the sword hall. Personally, I don't think that the banquet matters much. The only thing is that I need to act like an immature kid who doesn't know where his body ends and the world starts. It's really annoying actually. Well well, it's inevitable. I just hope that aunt Yu won't be to hard on them.

I ran to the sword hall, and it was actually very pretty. It's always pretty, it's just that they took it a little overboard this time. I don't blame them tho, it's soon time for A-Cheng and me to find out how our spiritual animals are going to look like.

Everyone knows that everyone the bigger sects always have the same kind of spiritual animal, but everyone's looks different, and there is never one that has the exact same appearance as someone else's. From size to color to eyes. For an example, Guys Lan sect are wolves, Quishen Wen sect are lions, and Yunmeng Jiang sect are vulp foxes. I wonder how A-Cheng's vulp fox will look like. Everyone knows that no one's spiritual animal is the same as another persons spiritual animal. There is a variety of things that could be a change on the animal, like color, size and shape. While most vulp foxes has a shade of red, there has been records of other colors, like purple and pink. The only exception is if a person that had that color before is dead.

After you get your spirit animal, you'll find out if you're a submissive or a dominant. Everyone thinks that A-Cheng will be a dominant since one, he's the sect heir, and two, he's the first and only boy in the family. Boys should always be dominant it seems. But the way he acts when we're not acting, I think he's a submissive. Actually, everyone that actually knows us, the real us, think he will be.

Anyway, I see everyone lifting and fixing things in the hall. There were so many different decorations, it was hard naming them all.

A little far away, I can hear the disciples that were escorting me to my room shouting a little. Guess they found out I snuck away, and by the way aunt Yu acts, she also know. Oh no, A-Li is going to scold me for this after the banquet. Dumb persona.

"Wei WuXian!" Aunt Yu screamed, and I ran away, not so descretly away to not get caught. To late, aunt Yu, A-Li and A-Cheng stood before me looking at me. I was about to run up to them to hug them and say sorry about my persona, but I saw disciples and maids running out to see what caused the commotion. When they saw me, they all looked at me and just put on a face that said 'Seriously? Again' And I couldn't really blame them. The only Wei WuXian they know is the one that only plays pranks on others. They don't know the real me. The one that stops A-Li from killing A-Cheng whenever he does something stupid or is mean to someone, or mostly A-Cheng at least.

Instead I bowed down to her and said:

"Madam Yu"

She looked confused at first, than she saw the disciples and maids, so she looked at me with hatred in her eyes instead of confusion. Inside I was whimpering with shame and sadness. Shame for the commotion my facade made me and sad for the look in her eyes. I didn't show that to everyone though, then I would blow evertything we had worked up. I would not do that, then I would get a real scolding from A-Li.

"You ran away from disciples, peeked in the sword hall, even though I told you not to! And you were about to tell my son about how it looked, to ruin the surprise. What do you have to say" Aunt Yu said with venom in her voice. I whimpered internally and was hurt, but I couldn't show that.

Yu Ziyuan's pov

Gosh, I'm so sorry A-Ying. I hate doing this, but you know why we do it. I wish that accident hadn't happened. Okay, I'm lying a little bit. If the accident hadn't happened, I wouldn't guessed how wrong I was about A-Ying, but if the accident hadn't happened, I wouldn't been forced to do this to him. (Yeah, like that happened in the series)

"I can't help it, you know how it is to be the best, after ChengCheng of course" he answered. Oh my god, he's going to make me laugh so hard. Okay, focus, you need to act like a strict person that needs to hate everything, 'sigh'

"You act like you own the place!" I suddenly heard a new disciple say.
"Yeah, why are you even head disciple if don't do anything!" I heard another one say.
More and more started to join in, and I saw how he crippled down inside. Dang ungrateful brats.

"ENOUGH" I shouted, leaving everyone stunned.
"I will decide Wei Wuxian's punishment alone with the sect leader and sect children" I told everyone, trying to put on my most strict face to make it more believable. It seemed to do the work, because everyone started to depart from the scene and go back to training.

"Let's go!" I said strictly, and I just saw how Wei Ying became even more dejected by that. My poor baby.

No one's pov

"Oh A-Ying" Madam Yu said, running towards Wei Ying and hugging him. Wei Ying, who was about to break down, finally broke and started to cry. Everyone in the room felt like their heart was breaking into pieces. Everyone went to Madam Yu and Wei Wuxian and hugged them, making a group hug.
