Wei Ying's pov

It's time. Everything and everyone is in place. The guests are here, the sect keepers are at the sides to help if anything goes wrong.
Sometimes, the spirit animal will either be heartbroken because the one that had it before just died, or it's just very unruly.

That can make them aggressive, so there are always sect keepers and sect disciple's close by if anything like that happen.
Oh, we're walking down towards our seats now.

No one's pov

First, Jiang Fengmian and Madam Yu walks down, Madam Yu sitting down at her place on the right side of the throne, while Jiang Fengmian walks up to the Lotus throne.
After that it's time for Jiang Yanli to walk down to her place at the left side in the middle of three seats.

Then, it was Wei Ying's turn. He walked out, looking all confident, but inside, he was nervous and had anxiety.

Madam Yu's pov

I look towards the door, seeing A-Li in all her grace, walk to her seat. I look towards Zixuan, and see him blush, and I smirk.

After that, it's A-Ying's turn. He walk to his seat his posture and face radiating confidence, but I knew where to look, and my suspicion was right. If you look in his eyes, you can see the nervousness and anxiety he has inside of him.

He always gets this way when there is a social or very important event, but I've never understood why.

He sits down at his place and looks around. I look around as well, and see people looking at him with distain in their eyes. Then it hit me.

This is why he's always anxious when there's this kinds of events. Almost everyone look down on him with the kind of hate everyone thinks that I have for him. Especially the disciples. I wish we could let go of these masks and just be a normal family. But because of all the accidents, we can't!!

Then I see A-Cheng, in all his glory and confidence, walking down into the middle of the room. There, he stops, and bows down. Fengmian looked very proud, but not many saw it, but I did.

Fengmian did a speech about how his eldest son will now become an adult. How it was time for him to start his own path in cultivation. It was a very beautiful sight, Jiang Cheng standing in the middle, sunlight chining down on him from the windows and open glide doors. The scene really looked ethereal.
Soon enough, the speech was over, and the sun was at its highest in the sky.

If you looked a little closely in the sky, you could see the sun's rays of sunshine going down towards my son. It was about to start.

No one's pov

Just as Madam Yu thought that, the rays of sunshine floated down towards Jiang Cheng and started to surround him, and everyone started to stare towards him. The sun-rays was the sign of the gods blessing for a spirit animal. If you see the sun-rays, you're sure to get a spirit animal.

Jiang Cheng looked up towards the lights, slowly closing his eyes and accepting the particles. A light slowly started circling around the sect heir, slowly but steadily getting brighter and brighter.

After the light had finally died down, you did not see a red shaded vulp fox, as almost everyone in the sect got. Instead, there were a white vulp fox, with black tips at its paws and end of its tail. Instead of having the grey-purple eyes of the sect heir, the fox form was a kind of blend between red and pink, and they were very mesmerising.

The only thought everyone that was present had was:

'Such beautiful eyes, his mate will be very lucky'

Soon, the colour of the fox seemed to get everyones attention, as there was no recorded data of there being a white vulp fox, ever. And then the chaos started. Everyone started shouting, demanding an explanation, while Jiang Yanli headed towards her brother fast with the other family members. Wei Ying was forced to stand behind a little, so that they wouldn't get discovered about having facades. The sect family helped Jiang Cheng out of there, Madam Jin, Jin Zixuan and Wei ying following behind. Jin Guanshan didn't notice where his family went, his thoughts full off things on what he could do to the head disciple of Yunmeng.

Jin Guanshans pov (for the first and only time)

The head disciple of Yunmeng is such a rare beauty, I must have him. But how will I get him? And how will I get his unruly behaviour out of his mindset?

No one's pov (and were back to normal 😉)

Soon, the family were in Madam Yu and Jiang Fengmian's room, all looking at Jiang Cheng, or rather, the spirit animal of Jiang Cheng. On the way to the sect couple's rooms, the vulp fox seemed more confused, indicating it had more control of the body than their beloved sect heir had.

The fox looked around, understanding dawning on it as it slowly shifted back into Jiang Cheng. Jiang Cheng slowly opened his eyes, his eyes now a little mix of both the fox's eyes and his own. Everyones eyes widened once again, although, not as much, as it wasn't uncommon for the spirit animal to mix a little more than just ears and tail.

Jiang Cheng seemed a little spaced out, before comming back to his sences, his eyes widening with fear as he looked at his family. Wei Ying couldn't take it anymore as he walked up to his big brother and hugged him. Jiang broke down as he hugged back, his parents, sister, brother-in-law and mother-in-law joined in on the hugging and they made a big group hug.
