"No, Lori. She was there all along. She didn't leave us at all. She was with the captain, talking about something. But why does she even look at me like that?"

Jungkook couldn't stop himself from telling everything to Lori on the phone once he reached home. Plopping on the bed, the first thing he did was call her and tell her every single detail of what happened in the evening in the volleyball practice session.

He turned to his stomach and lay on the bed, talking to Lori with his knitted full eyebrows and pout, explaining to her what he was feeling then.

"Jungkook, calm down. I know, I can understand that you cannot stand her. Um, why don't you just talk to her and say stay away from you? Or can I go talk to her for you?"

"No, I would never ask you to do that. You aren't talking to her at any cost. I will talk to her; I will ask her to stay away from me, and you don't get involved in this. You stay away from her." Jungkook said, making her chuckle.

"Fine, I will not go to her," she said, and that was when Jungkook breathed out, calming down himself. "So, how was the practice, other than YN?"

"Well, it was pretty fun. I almost forgot some tricks, but thanks to Bryce. He's really good at it and he complimented me as well," Jungkook smiled.

"Ow, then I'm going to witness a spicy match from you, I guess," Lori said, and Jungkook giggled before turning to his back. His sparkling eyes looked at the ceiling as he heard her voice.

"If we win, I would definitely gift you something, Lori." He said, and her eyes widened. "Wow, I can't wait for that Jungkook."

They talked for a while as they do every time, even though they were glued to each other in the university, they would never get tired of each other.

"I will go have dinner; see you tomorrow. Love you," Lori said, blowing a kiss and declining the call. Jungkook's face was painted with blush as he stared at the screen that was showing their wallpaper.

"Just stay away from her, Jungkook. She will not hurt you. I will not let that happen," Lori said, intertwining her pinky with his. He chuckled as he stared at her. He showed his bunny teeth, making her mesmerized by him.

"Do you want something to eat? I will get a chip bag for me," Lori said, but Jungkook shook his head. "I'm good, but I will come with you," Jungkook replied.

"You said you wanted to submit some form for the volleyball?" Lori reminded him, and that's when his eyes widened. "Yeah, I almost forgot, Lori. Thank you for reminding me. I will give it and come back to the class before it starts," he pinched her cheek before running towards Bryce's class.

She chuckled as she stared at him. Taking her wallet, she walked towards the cafeteria.

She leaned to the counter and looked at the flavor she wanted to buy. Her eyes were roaming everywhere, and that was when YN came to her, standing at her side. They didn't notice each other until YN spoke.
