"This shirt looks so cool, YN." Lori chimed, looking at one of the shirts in the store. YN followed Lori where she walked. Lori admired the shirt's unique design and pattern that caught her eye. She was eager to show YN the shirt, hoping that YN would also find it cool and stylish.

"You sure have a taste, Lori." Lori breathed a massive sigh of relief and said, "You don't know how long I've been holding my breath for that compliment!"

"Lol, you want to impress Jungkook, don't you?" Lori was asked, evident in her expression. "Of course, YN. I hope to see him smiling." Lori had bought a new perfume specifically for the occasion. She had spent a long time in the store trying to decide which scent would make the best impression on Jungkook.

After much deliberation, she chose a vanilla-scented perfume, hoping that it would make Jungkook smile. "He smells like a flower sometimes."

YN couldn't help but think about Jungkook. The way he smiles, the way he stares at her with his doe eyes, everything about him screams flawless. She was entranced by his beauty, and for that moment, she had forgotten about the world around her, until Lori tapped her shoulder.

"Shall we stop and eat something? I'm exhausted after this treasure hunt for my prince." Lori said and YN chuckled. "Yes, we should."

After eating something in the food court, Lori picked up her bags and walked towards YN's car. "Looks like it will rain soon. I will drop you home quick, okay?" Saying that YN swiftly drove towards Lori's house. YN navigated the road carefully and reached Lori's home.

"Thank you so much, YN. You are such a huge help to me today." Lori said and YN furrowed her eyebrows. "Do you actually thank your friends?"

"Uh-uh. No, I will not." Lori said and that instantly brought a smile to YN's face. "See you tomorrow, babe." YN smiled and waved goodbye to Lori. When she was about to drive away, Lori's phone rang.

"Oh, it's Jungkook." Lori picked up her cell phone and talked to him. "I'm home, Kook. Where are you?"

Lori's eyes widened as she spoke to him. YN turned off the car and waited for her to tell her what had happened.

"Okay, Jungkook. Call me when you get a cab, okay?" Lori declined her call and stared at YN. "What happened? Why do you look so worried?"

"Jungkook got stuck in the rain, YN. He didn't bring his bike today and when he left the university late, it rained. Now he waits for a cab, but it's too late for a cab. Argh, I thought he had left home already but he was practising." Unfortunately, Jungkook wasn't prepared for the rain. Without a bike or other means of transportation, he was left stranded in the rain with no way to get home.

"Don't worry, he will find a bus or a cab soon. You go sleep." YN said but Lori was worried about him. "Hey, you make it home safe. I don't want you stuck in the rain." Lori gave YN a small smile and said, "I'll wait for your text too". YN smiled back and responded, "I'll be alright".

Not thinking twice, YN drove faster towards the university, where Jungkook would be waiting. She was faster as he shouldn't leave the place before arriving there. As soon as she moved, she saw raindrops falling on her window and turned on the wiper.

When she reached the place, she saw him standing on the corner of the road, looking at his phone. He then looked back at the road. Sooner, she stopped the car in front of him.

It took a few seconds for him to notice the car in front of him was parked. His eyes grew wide as he realized the vehicle. And that was when YN slid down the window, staring into his eyes.

"Get inside. I will drop you home." She yelled through the rain. He didn't blink as his lips parted, staring back at her. "Don't you wanna go home?"

He contemplated whether to proceed or not. He didn't want to take her help for granted because he was stuck in the rain. His thoughts were interrupted again by her voice.

"Jungkook. You can pay me if you wish." That was the last thing she wanted to say to him. She just wanted him to hop in the car so that she can take him safely to his home.

Suddenly, Jungkook's phone rang with Lori's text. She wanted to know if he had got a cab or not. Sighing to himself he texted her back quickly "Yes, heading back home." Jungkook covered his head with his hands, ran towards the other side of the car, and jumped in.

"Finally you have decided," YN chuckled as he buckled his seatbelt. He tilted his head and stared at her. "Where is your house?" She asked, turning on the screen in front of her. He told her his address and she smiled, looking at him.

"Too bad you are not getting a cab for 20 minute's drive." She talked quite a lot as she drove towards his house.

She wanted to keep mum but couldn't. She just talked about random stuff and he listened to her without saying anything back. He just wished Lori wouldn't find out about him and YN drove back to his house.

"Lori seems like a lovely girl," YN smiled as she turned back to Jungkook. "Look, I'm thankful you are helping me but I don't want you to talk about her. I still don't forgive how you behaved with her on the first day." Jungkook sighed and looked away, avoiding YN's gaze. "I'm sorry," YN said softly. "I won't talk about her again."

In a few minutes, YN stopped the car in front of his house. After observing his home, she tilted her head back to look at him. "Thank you for dropping by. Please keep this to yourself. I don't want Lori to know you dropped me."

YN smiled and nodded her head. "And, I'm sorry for my words. I was just pissed off." Jungkook continued, looking away from her intense gaze. "It is fine. By the way, where is my pay?" YN said, extending her hand to him.

His eyes widened as he stared at her. A chuckle escaped her lips before she shoved her hand back."I was just joking." She responded, making him nod. "Take care," she said and he shut the door. He slowly walked away in the rain and she drove away from his house.

He stood there at the gate and stared at her leaving his sight.

She smiled as she drove back to her house. It was such a memorable day for her. She would happily go back home and sleep tight with her pillow around.

Her eyes shifted to her phone when she received a call. She took her phone and checked the caller ID, making her smile disappear in an instant.

It was Mike.
