"Let me carry it for you" a genuine smile crosses Jisoo's lips. She allows the man to take the bags from her tired arms. She regrets she said yes to her mother, the day seems far to its end, and the older woman is not done picking clothes.

"Your Mom is having fun," Suho commented eyeing the older lady as she converse with the saleswoman about what size she was getting. Jisoo nodded and crosses her arms.

"I can see," she agreed. She saw her mother turn to them, and it was time for her to wave a hand. Sandara walks to her daughter, excitement is written all over her face. She raised a found jacket that made Jisoo raise her brows.

Is she going to convince me to wear this? Mom knows big jackets are not my thing. She thought.

It's probably for the man beside her, the boyfriend.

She was wrong

"This caught my attention while I was looking for the long sleeves, do you think it suits Lisa?" Taken aback, the younger one suddenly remembers her best friend, and the talk they had weeks ago.

Though they continued as if nothing happened, as Lisa gave her what she promise. Jisoo knows the latter is waiting for her and is expecting another talk. With somehow a better answer. She glances at the man who's with her, the guilt is there, again. She did him wrong and continues to lie to him. No one deserved to lie and be tied to someone unfaithful and unsure.

But Jisoo can't bring herself to tell him, not yet. She does not know how, and it made her feel worst that he became more attached to her. Yet she's being unfair to both of them, to Lisa and Suho. A little more, and she'll make a decision.

"It's not her birthday yet, mom" she blurted out. The older woman smiled nonetheless.

"That's not the point, you know she's like a daughter to me too. You grew up like sisters, and I want to give her something." You can say Jisoo cringed when she heard the term "sisters"

Sisters do not fuck with each other, one thing is for sure.

"I think she would love it" Suho spoke which made the two women turn to him. The look on his face tells us that he's sure about what she had said. He interacted with Lisa, enough to take note of her style. Jisoo averted her gaze, even her boyfriend knows what her BEST FRIEND, liked.

Her mother ended up buying the jacket, and Sandara also pursued Suho to accept the cloth she bought for him.

"Thank you for accompanying us, we would have been crawling if it wasn't for you!" Sandara exclaimed, making the man laugh.

"It's nothing, I'm glad I could help." he politely returned

"I'll prepare dinner, you should stay." Jisoo and Suho glanced at each other before the younger woman spoke for him.

"Her sister is waiting for him. They'll have dinner." She said.

"Is that so? Then how about next time? So I can brag how good of a cook I am." Sandara cockily uttered, earning another laugh from the two.
