Third Person Pov
-All the little things-

"Will you marry me?" The little girl's doe-like eyes were slightly covered by her growing bangs, but none of it bothered her for showing how sincere she was. Her little hands scooted to catch the smaller hands that were resting.

"But we can't, I'm 8 and you're 7 !" The older girl exclaimed, baffled by what her best friend asked her. Marry? They're too young, and marriage isn't pretty, Jisoo thought.

"Eh? I want to make you my wife." Lisa, the younger and more impatient one plucked her lips, forming them into a pout. She was disappointed that Jisoo turned her down too quickly.

"Only adults get married," Jisoo mumbled under a short breath. Her eyes blinked twice when Lisa lowered her head inconsolably, making the older one guilty.

"I love you, isn't that enough." Lisa's voice became a whisper. Her innocence made her more pitiful. She leisurely detached her hold from Jisoo, immediately missing the softness of her hands.

"I love you too Lili, maybe when we're old enough!" Jisoo brightly uttered, doing her best to console the frowning younger one. Lisa's cheeks were as red as tomatoes as she prevent herself from smiling too widely.

"Do you promise that?" She mumbled still not meeting Jisoo's gaze. Her eyes were glued to the tiled floor, her hands fidgeting. Anxious for Jisoo's answer.

Lisa was a bit too busy with not being caught from being fluttered she didn't have the chance to see Jisoo's tender stare at her. Honest and comfortable. The younger one froze when she felt someone's touch on her chin, and the butterflies in her stomach were havoc when her eyes finally unite with her best friend's

"I do." They both gave each other a promising smile.

"Mommy," Jisoo called, tilting her head to see her mother who was reading something on her phone. It was night time and she was supposed to go to sleep, but she can't because the strong winds were disturbing her.

"Yes, baby?" Despite being engulfed in her late work, Sandara never let her daughter feel she was being neglected. Jisoo shifted in her position, her arms now wrapped around her mother's waist, legs over her torso, and cheek resting over her chest.

"Did daddy ask you to marry him?" Sandara halted from reading and diverted her attention to Jisoo, it was the first time her daughter asked something about her father since he left them.

Sandara knows it was hard for them, especially for their kids to accept their father's disappearance, and what more if they'll learn about his betrayal. Jisoo was very fond of her father, she loved him, adored him, and idolizes him. Not until he saw him hurt her mother.

"Yes, he did," Sandara answered truthfully, subtly glazing at the picture beside the bed. It was from their wedding. Young, happy, and in love.

"Why did you say yes?" It was a curious question, Sandara never expected this from her. Unusual, but she communicated with her in the best way.
