Adrien and Y/n were in his room just talking before Adrien expressed how much he wanted to go to public school.
"you wanna go to school, really?" Y/n asked in disbelief as Adrien told her. "yeah, did you ever go public school at one point?" Adrien asked, and Y/n shook her head "I never went to public school, I've always done virtual school" She replied.
"...but I get why you want to go," She said, and he looked at her surprised "you do?" she nodded "eh kinda, you said before how you had no friends, so you must want to hang out with more people your age," she said "Well now I have you" He smiled.
"I'll help you," she said, and he looked at her confused "help me?" She got up and walked out of his room. Adrien quickly got up and followed her as they walked downstairs.
She knocked on Mr. Agreste's office; Nathalie opened the door and looked down at her. "is there something you need Miss. Y/n?" Y/n nodded "I'm sorry to intrude, but I was wondering if me and Adrien could explore the city tomorrow? " Nathalie looked back inside and looked back at the two and nodded. "I'll arrange for the driver to pick you two up tomorrow, but I would have to come along." she said and closed the door.
"wow..." Adrien whispered and looked at Y/n, who was already looking at him. "you okay?" she asked with conern. Adrien nodded and hugged the girl; she didn't hug him because she wasn't expecting a sudden hug, but even then she felt kinda nervous to hug him, not completely used to the idea of people touching her so she just stood there awkwardly.
"..thank you," he said and she hummed. "thats what friends are fore" he pulled away noticing how tense she was in the hug, afterwards the two walked up to Adriens room once more.
"Y/n would you consider going to school with me?" He asked once back at the room. "I could go but I can't say I'll enjoy it" she truthfully replied.
"Do you even play?" She pointed to the pool table " not often, do wanna play with me?" He asked walking towards the pool table"sure" she said walking to the other side of the pool table.
"Do you already know the rules or do you want me to explain it to you?" Adrien asked and she shook her head. " how different can it be from the message game version?" He laughed and shook his head.
few minutes later:
"I won!" Adrien said excited as he side hugged Y/n who was just looking at the five balls that she still had left. "Good game" she said and Adrien hummed and side hugged her even tighter. "Wanna play another round?" He asked and she just nodded.
Hours later:
"this game is too hard" Y/n said as she looked at the balls she had left over. Adrien patted her reassuringly. "Miss Y/n it's time for bed" Nathalie said behind the door. "I'm coming" Y/n called to her. "you ready for tomorrow?" Y/n asked, and Adrien nodded. " Sweet dreams " Y/n told him. "Sweet dreams Y/n" he waved her goodbye.
For a few hours Adrien laid in his bed thinking about school, of course he was excited but he was also worried that people might not like him. He sighed getting out of bed and walked over to Y/n's room.
He started to shake her hoping she would wake up luckily for him she managed to wake up. "Adrien?" she mumbled and he sat on the bed. " do you think people will like me?" he asked the half-asleep girl.
"Adrien it's too early to care about peoples opinions" she said before letting out a yawn " I don't know why we're having this conversation right now. You're an amazing guy and whoever doesn't like you got dropped as a baby." She said and he had a tiny blush on his face "...thanks Y/n" 'she hummed "its only the truth"
Adrien stared at her eyes and how they seemed to light up in the moonlight that the room had. "Can I have the covers now? This room is freezing." Adrien laughed nervously and handed her the covers "thanks" she said and covered herself.
"Now is there anything else you wanted to talk about?" she asked and he looked at her confused "weren't you gonna go back to sleep?" she shook her head "It will take a while"
