Abu Hurairah, radiyallahu 'anhu, reported that a man said to the Prophet, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam:
"Advise me! "The Prophet said, "Do not become angry and furious." The man asked (the same) again and again, and the Prophet said in each case, "Do not become angry and furious."

"What took you too long?" Hadiza asked the moment Aysha entered the car.
"I was looking for the perfume it turned out it was out of stock" Aysha said with the most normal attitude she could muster.
Aysha smiled weakly as Hadiza eyed her with furrowed eyebrows. She recalled the incidence that happen on the staircase making bile to rise up to her throat.
❧
"What do you want?" She asked on the brink of tears as she attempted to run, he tightly held her two arms to stop her from running.
"Let me go!" She shouted as she started crying while struggling to break free.
"Shout and cry all you want but nobody is going to save you" he said with that sinister smile on his face.
"Leave me! What do you want from me?" She repeated.
"Nothing, I'm just here to warn you" he said leaning in closer as she tried her hardest best to move back in the process pressing herself to the wall.
"I heard you're getting married" he leaned back to get a good look of her face "well don't let that happen, if not I'll ruin you" he let out a throaty chuckle. "Don't think I'm bluffing, 'cos I don't bluff, I mean what I say. I know how to taint your reputation, you'll be forced to cover your face whenever you go to the public" he whispered into her ear.
"Why are you doing this?" She whispered closing her eyes wishing it was all a dream.
"You're in no position to question me so just shut up and do what I say" he snarled harshly.
"This is only a warning, there's more to come if you don't listen to what I said" he turned away from her walking away.
"Oh! And Hadiza is safe, that, I was just bluffing" he winked at her smirking as he turned and went away.
She stiffly sat on the tiled stairs breathing heavily. Her body was shaking as she tried to gather her thoughts. She wiped away her tears with her hand and adjusted her clothes that were slightly roughed up.
❧
She quickly ran up to her room avoiding all her family members. Hadiza had been dropped at her house, as her mom had called her asking her to come back home while they were coming back from the mall.
She locked the door before entering the toilet and stripping down. She slid the shower door open before entering, turning the shower to a high temperature. She let the waterworks free as it camouflaged with the water coming from the shower.
She sobbed as she remembered how close he was to her, how he whispered in her ear, how he threatened her. She furiously rubbed her body, she felt dirty and used. She rubbed her body till it was red and raw, she wrapped a fluffy robe around her before leaving the bathroom. She laid on her bed, her wet hair soaking the pillow she laid on.
She kept staring at oblivion as she thought about earlier. She couldn't tell her parents because she knew nothing could stop this marriage. Her phone pinged with a message.
Private number: video attachment
She opened the attachment with shaky hands. At first the video wasn't really clear. It seemed like a CCTV. She could see two figures of a man and a woman in an intimate position. The mans face couldn't be seen as it was in the crook of the woman's neck. She saw them talking and then the video got clearer. The air escaped her lungs as she saw the woman.
That woman was...
Her!
Her breathing got faster and she started hyperventilating, her throat was constricting and she felt dizzy and light headed. Her hands were clammy and shaking and she felt like she was going mad. She pressed her two hands to her head.
She could only identify the feeling as panic attack. She learnt a few things on it as it was part of Hafsat's course in the university , and she was particularly intrigued about panic attacks. She was glad she had learnt the few ways it could be controlled.
She closed her eyes and concentrated on regulating her breathing. Involuntary tears rushed from her eyes. She tried to push her mind away from the disastrous incident to a happy memory. All those things that made her happy.

Chocolate
Chamomile. She was addicted to that.
Chamomile! She decided that was the perfect remedy to cure her panic attack. So she dragged herself to the edge of the bed near the side drawer where the intercom was kept, she dialed the maids chamber and gave in her order.
Someone knocked on her door and she uttered a silent 'come in'. The door opened to reveal mama. She came in with a teacup and saucer kept on a tray. Mama offered her a gentle smile before she came in and sat next to her.
"You look stressed" mama said after studying her for a minute.
"Its nothing to worry, why did you take the stress of bringing the tea up the maids could've done it" she said trying to change the topic.
"Can't I now bring tea for my own daughter" mama said playfully scolding her "anyway I was on my way to you, I figured we haven't been spending much time together so I thought to come up and then I saw the maid coming up with your tea so I merely saved her the stress".
She smiled before gently seeping on her tea. Mama held both her hands a look of concern suddenly washing over her face as she looked her squarely on the face ."Are you sure you're okay? Don't tell me that your fake 'I'm fine' because I'm not buying it"
She wanted to cry and fall to the arms of her mother, she wanted to shout out to her and tell her she's not alright, to tell her all her worries but she knew she couldn't.
"Its just... This wedding, its overwhelming and I'm not used to it. I'm not ready but I know it has to happen so I'm trying to get used to it" she swallowed the lump in her throat as she settled for sharing a little part of her misery.
"I know baby and I'm sorry, I never wanted it to happen like this but it is and I'm sorry I'm not able to stop it. I just hope in the near future you'll learn to see the good in this marriage" she smiled sadly at her. This was one of the proof that the marriage couldn't be called off.
They continued talking while Aysha laid on the bed with her head on mama's lap while she stroked her hair. When mama noticed Aysha was asleep she slowly slipped Aysha's head from her lap and she tucked her in just like how she used to when she was little. She gently kissed her forehead before she switched off the lights and went out of the room.
